“Shangra-wow! The house is exquisite- from the majestic driveway to the jaw dropping ocean views from every level. This house has it all in 5 star form. The spacious and fabulously appointed kitchen and living room are enveloped by 180 degree ocean views. The third floor pool has fantastic gathering and sunning spaces that are the envy of the beach. The 4th floor master suite is simply stunning with a shower that has more jets than a car wash and a projection TV. Elevator, gym, sauna, top of the line golf cart, bikes, ocean toys - all set in a completely private enclave. The beach was not over crowded even on a holiday weekend and was empty during the week. Shangra-La is not inexpensive, but it delivers. My family had a fabulous time.”

“My wife and I just stayed here over Memorial weekend and brought our two adult children and their boyfriend/girlfriend. The property and house are in a great and private location towards Bean Point/the North end of the island. Traffic isn’t great but once you’re there, it’s not an issue. The house is charming, clean and fit our group of six great. The views and access to the beach are fantastic along with the sand and water. We had a small issue with the AC but the host responded immediately and had a service person out there and they took care of it quickly. The house seems recently updated with the kitchen area, outdoor yard area and pool especially. The rooms are comfortable and work fine for a beach house weekend. The house also provides a lot of toys that are very useful. A golf cart to get around, beach towels/chairs/umbrellas/etc. all of which we used daily. We also rented a boat one day and used the cooler which saved us from having to buy one. Would stay again!”

“We had a wonderful time at serendipity! Perhaps the best compliment is that I’m already considering a return trip. We stayed for several days as a family, including our little one, pup and grandparents. The views were spectacular, from inside or out! We saw manatees, dolphins, fish, and lots of boats going through the pass. The house was spotless, communication was seamless and gracious, and beach was just a few short steps away. Our little loved the entire sandbox of the first floor outdoor space! Highly recommend this peaceful, clean, comfortable hideaway.”

“We loved our stay! It was our first trip with our 10-month-old, and the location and pool made it easy to relax while still keeping up with naps. The only downside was that the bathtub drain didn’t work properly, which made baths a little tricky. Otherwise, it was a wonderful, family-friendly place to stay!”
