Select Rentals at Crescent Bar LLC's guest rating of 4.72 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“We absolutely loved our stay! It was just what we needed to recharge and rest since we attended Bass Canyon. The pictures do not do this listing justice. It’s 100 times better in person. Our group would definitely stay again!”airbnb

“Our stay was much more stressful than expected. Check-in was difficult as the lockbox was hard to locate, requiring us to call for help. Although we communicated our arrival time, the host later referenced our late check-in negatively to Airbnb. Shortly after arrival, the toilet overflowed during normal use, spreading waste throughout the bathroom. We spent over an hour cleaning it ourselves. Due to the potential biohazard, we requested sanitation assistance but were instead told to use their towels to clean the floor and wash them ourselves. A cleaner came the next morning for only 5–10 minutes. We were never informed about sensitive plumbing, special toilet instructions, or the $70 cleaning fee. Most concerningly, the host told Airbnb we had “overloaded” the toilet, which is false. We used it normally and were never given these instructions. A previous review also mentioned weak plumbing. Future guests should clarify the plumbing, toilet instructions, and all fees before booking.”airbnb

“Very nice and spacious rental. Lots of room for food storage. Only issue was parking - no parking description prior - only 2 vehicles are included for an 8 person rental - $60 per extra vehicle - extra charge was unexpected and not communicated prior.”airbnb

“Overall a great stay! I will say, it was a bit of an inconvenience when in the middle of making dinner the first night, we ran out of propane and was not able to get it filled until the mid morning after, so we were unable to cook for the beginning of our trip.”airbnb

“Toilet would not flush upon check-in, kitchen sink clogged multiple times, fridge and grill were dirty upon arrival, baseboards detached, patio full of cobwebs. Responded to check-in time inquiry message. Later got another text asking the same questions and when I did not answer because it had already been communicated, I got a call telling me I haven’t been responsive and needed to check in at the office by 5 although no such requirements had been communicated. Have stayed in CB Condos for years. Would not rent this unit again, nor one through Select Rentals due to this experience.”airbnb

“Good spot, cool layout with the pool I. The courtyard. Seemed a little on the expensive side for what you get”airbnb

“Beautiful place right across the grass from the ice cream and pro shop. The place had everything we needed for two families (4 adults and 4 kids). The two things I’d note are that there are actually two king beds (the listing says 1 king and 1 queen) and you should bring beach towels because the unit does not provide them (even though the guest book says they do)”airbnb

“Upon arrival, the original unit had a burst water heater and a flooded garage. The property management came out and began moving us to other units. Over the next 2 hours, we cycled through 4 different houses. Each one was unclean and unusable. At one point, management guaranteed a unit was clean. It was not. It had personal products in the bathroom, food in the fridge and towels on the floor. By 12:30 AM, we were forced to accept a downgraded unit. The property management’s attitude throughout made this worse. They repeatedly told us they were “doing us a favor” by finding alternate housing, and that their standard policy would be to simply cancel our booking and leave us to figure it out. This was our first visit to the gorge. We lost an entire evening due to issues that were entirely on the host’s side. They also said they don’t track which units are clean and that owners sometimes allow personal guests to use the property without notice.”airbnb
