“Nice quiet, private neighborhood. It was definitely unique in style. We found the house bedrooms a little tight so moved to the one above the garage. it was a lovely space.”

“The location is key! We were a little dissapointed in the beds. They are stated as Queen beds in the descriptions, they are actually Full Size beds and a bit outdated. Linens and bed covers are worn outdated as well (but Clean). The house was clean enough and really had all the essentials, although we did not cook in, kitchen looked like you could easily do that if chose to. Otherwise we really had no complaints. We got what we paid for and knew we were paying for location rather than luxury. We had an amazing stay just being together. We were a group of 10 (7 adults and 3 Kiddos) and the house easily accomodated us. Again, if you are looking for a great location to just about everything, this is a great house. The communication with the host was amazing. Thank you. We had a great time!”

“Beautiful home in perfect location! The house was clean, well-appointed and easy to find. The fully fenced yard was perfect for dogs and it was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. A minor ant problem was resolved quickly. The only concern I had was that, immediately upon check-in, we were expected to complete a two page checklist going through every nook and cranny of the house, even rooms we weren’t using, testing every single appliance and outlet. We also had to sign an additional two page contract listing terms and conditions outside of the Airbnb agreement. The house was lovely, but this was a big enough turnoff that we would probably choose another option instead of a property owned by seaside vacation properties in the future.”

“Everything was great! The only issue we had was getting the fireplace to work. Other than that, our dogs loved having room to roam and we loved having the quiet space to ourselves. The home was nice and must what we needed for a little retreat. We hope to be back again soon!”

“Very cool old house. Tons of neat decorations, trinkets, and historic photos. Very close to the beach. The beds were very firm and the hide-a-bed in the couch was also not very comfortable. The shower curtain is made of cloth and hard to keep water in. Unfortunately the hot-tub is off limits after 9:00pm. Also had to sign another contract with a different agency besides AirBNB upon arrival and fill out an inspection review of each room and their appliances. Also received a couple calls from the other rental agency prior to check in date, asking if i understood all the rules. Maybe the rental agents hadn’t communicated their contact with me.”

“It's a great house in a great location. Hot tub was great as well. Just had to go buy some supplies that are usually supplied like shampoo, conditioner, bidy wash, and laundry detergent.”

“The host welcomes you to the house by telling you- as you check in that you have a 4 page contract to sign and leave outside for them to begin your stay. You have to go through all the blinds- to the carpet and give each item a rating from A-F. There’s over 30 items you have to go through. There was some small stuff, like the dishwasher was full upon arrival. But in general with it being an old house it was well kept. There’s a lot of rules about 9pm for the hot tub. A very very early check out (10am). I wouldn’t stay there again but it was cute and has a LOT of Knick knacks. Towels and bedding were nice! Lots of fun glasses and kitchen stuff.”

“When we checked into our around 5:30pm (1.5 hours after check in time), we had an uncomfortable encounter with a maintenance person who tried to enter our home right after we exchanged words in the driveway. He didn't mention that he was going to service our home, but we pulled back and confronted him. It made us really uneasy since it was just two moms and our 11 year old daughters. In addition, we were told there would be laundry detergent, and there was not. There were zero toiletries in any bathroom, and no coffee to enjoy in the morning. Just feels like those are small things that would make the stay more enjoyable. Also - the amount of automated texts is rather annoying when you are only there for less than 48 hours.”
