“We loved our stay at the Tin Roof House. It really feels like a lived-in home rather than a rental, which we appreciated. It’s such a unique house, and it was a treat to finally stay in an Obie Bowman and experience that classic Sea Ranch feeling firsthand. The views are incredible, expansive ocean and meadow, and the courtyard was probably our favorite part of the house. It was perfect for spending a quiet morning outside or watching the sunset over the ocean and meadow. The kitchen has a slightly funny layout, but it’s a great kitchen and was well stocked, including nice cookware. The bed was comfortable, and the separate cottage was wonderful too, with its own distinctive Obie Bowman details. We’d absolutely stay here again and will definitely recommend it to friends.”

“Was shocked by the status of the house. Bathrooms were not clean in shower , cobwebs inside the windows, stains on carpets, chipped walls. Granted it’s a beach house but the place was a bit run down and not the cleanest. I would never return to that house.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Second Wind! The house was extremely clean, cozy, and had beautiful views. We especially loved the hot tub and deck—it was the perfect spot to relax and watch the sunset and stargaze at night. The kitchen was relatively well stocked, which was appreciated. One thing to note is that the house does not provide toiletries like shampoo or conditioner, so definitely make sure to bring your own. Overall, a really comfortable and peaceful place to stay, and we’d happily recommend it.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Quail View. The house was very comfortable and just a short walk from the bluff trail. Loved the window seats in the mornings and the loft tv area was great at night. The kitchen has nice updated appliances and was nicely equipped. Had everything we needed to prepare meals.”

“Pretty tough check out process. We locked our phone in the house and had trouble getting access to the house and responsiveness to get back in to retrieve it. We also followed the checkout instructions (load the dishwasher), but left some dishes. When we finally got access to get my phone back, the cleaners basically yelled at us and we received several messages about the dishes. This is an expensive rental, and we pay a cleaning fee. Really bad experience that left a bad a taste in our mouth.”
