“Roan & Black was a great place to stay! As former B&B owners this space met all of our expectations and had all of the extras. We came for our 15th anniversary to enjoy the Art Gallery Tour in Douglas and Saugatuck. It was such a fun trip and staying at a former art gallery with well appointed art made the trip even more special. We will definitely stay here again!”

“Chad’s place was exquisite!! He truly has thought of everything. My parents joined us, 85 and 86, and they too loved it. The grandchildren loved the sauna and grand parents loved the space as well as one of the master suites on the first level. The neighborhood was very friendly and we all felt at home. Thanks again to Chad for thinking of Every detail to include in his beautiful rental and having great taste with design and furniture.”

“Loved our stay at Chad’s place. It had everything we needed to have a fun filled girls weekend! The woods with changing leaves surrounding the house were beautiful! The sunroom and deck space were nice for enjoying the outdoors. The furniture was gorgeous but not very comfy for movies nights, but it worked perfectly fine for our needs. It helped that there was cozy blankets everywhere and a gas fire place! Only issue we had was the 1 toilet flushing but Chad was responsive and apologetic. I’m sure he’ll have it fixed for the next guests. Overall, I highly recommend!!”

“I’ve stayed in a lot of AirBnBs, and this is one of my favorites. Chad and his team thought of every little detail. The kitchen was unbelievably well stocked with staples. The house was immaculately clean. The home had little details that you would find in a high end hotel. And the location couldn’t be better. It was perfect.”

“Chad’s place was a wonderful spot for our mini moon. It was private, but walkable to a fantastic restaurant Pennyroyal. The leaves were literally falling off the trees in the backyard and it was a beautiful sight to see. It’s a super industrial and artsy vibe which is a recurring theme in Saugatuck. Great space and SO close to downtown Saugatuck.”
