Manager Review

Sandy Beach Properties

Sandy Beach Properties's guest rating of 4.80 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The place was great it would have been great if they left more garbage bags and paper towels.

Great time! Right on the bay with its own private dock and fishing stuff included. Had a few appliance issues in the kitchen. Mismatched lightbulb colors. Overall seemed like the place has maybe seen better days, but nothing we encountered managed to interfere too much with our trip. Surrounding area is very small, quiet and weathered- not a lot of options when trying to see where to get coffee, etc.

Disappointing Experience I recently stayed at the property in Lanark Village FL with my family, and unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. Our biggest issues were overall property management including routine maintenance, cleanliness, sleeping conditions, and lack of comfort. This was less like a beach vacation and more like a lake vacation due to the beach and tides.

Beach Barrack was a spacious and private home for our family to enjoy the beach this year. We enjoyed coming back for a second year after staying in the property next door. The water is not too deep for little kids. The beach access is unbeatable. And the space the home has to offer was great for a family of 6. We look forward to coming back next year!

We chose this property partly for the advertised pool access, but the gate code never worked. I called three times and was told they were waiting on the HOA each time, but I never received a follow-up and had to keep reaching out myself. On the first day, my child and I had to climb over the deck railing to access the pool, but the rest of our group didn’t feel comfortable doing that. We were in town for softball tournaments, so having pool access after long days would have been great. The house itself was cute and met our basic needs, but overall, it didn’t feel like a good value since the pool was unavailable the entire stay and the issue wasn’t resolved.

If you are looking for isolation this is the place. No one was on the beach for miles. Amenities were lacking, only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 3 beach towels in the whole place, and one beach toy. Not even coffee was provided. Bring all your own things because there is nothing around for about 20 minutes, and don’t go too fast or you’ll drive right through town.
