The rental was exactly what we were looking for and the perfect price point for the beautiful Seabrook Island. Amazing amenities in the rental andl quite cozy. Would highly recommend and can't wait to stay here again!

This is an ideal house for families. It meets all the standard criteria of enough beds, clean and modern space and homelike feel but the real stand outs are all the extras. The storage area is stocked with over 6 beach chairs, beach wagons, umbrellas, beach toys, pool noodles, kites, a cooler, a fishing pole, a bike and some misc sports equipment. There is an outdoor shower which is private and useable as a regular shower; a must after the beach, to wash off sandy or ice cream covered children or when multiple people want to shower at once. Inside there are also lots of board games. Highly recommended!

Seabrook Island is wonderful.  Sandpiper ... not so much.  On their business website they write - "24/7 RESPONSE FOR YOU AND YOUR GUESTS. We respond promptly and professionally to all potential guests and are available to you and your visitors whenever you need us. Whether it is a late-night issue with the HVAC, a Sunday afternoon cable call, the oven stops working on a holiday morning, or you need emergency storm preparation for your home immediately, we have you and your guests covered." Saturday evening the HVAC stopped working.  I immediately messaged Sandpiper via AirBnB and was told the temperature was perfectly fine and contact them if is rises.  The temperature quickly approached 80 (humidity 90), I contacted them 5 times (total).  After the second attempt, I then moved onto AirBnB, they also attempted to contact Sandpiper.  After 10 hours, Sandpiper finally answered.  The response - "This is the first time we are hearing about this" (NOTE - I contacted them 5 times and AirBnB

Positives- beds were comfortable, lots of seating, access to beaches and clubs was great, food at the clubhouse was very good. Seabrook Island and the city of Charleston are beautiful places, very clean and easy to get around. Negatives-pictures didn't look like the actual, water was leaking in several spots to the point of having to put a towel down in the bathroom because the floor was so wet, hand soap dispensers were empty in all of the bathrooms and we were told to use the tiny bars of soap from the shower. Notified management immediately on arrival and was told someone would be coming to check on the leaking and supply soap but no one ever did. The outdoor shower was cluttered and really dirty to where no one wanted to use it. Also, upstairs bunk room had no airflow and ants including in the bed .

This place is very charming! It is nice and peaceful. The furniture and beds are really nice. We slept well there.

This is a great location and neighborhood and the house does have room for a bigger crowd. We encountered dirty bedding, stinky garbage cans, an unswept porch, a bathroom leak, broken fixtures and other clutter. I did ask to speak with a manager and did not receive a call back. With some work, this could a good place to rent. I will not be choosing it or Sandpiper again.

This is a solid rental. At the time of this review, however, the amenity description eliminates a lot of important information. No golf carts are allowed at the location even though there is plenty of parking and the gated community allows them. Additionally, the golf, tennis, and equestrian amenities are not allowed to be booked by renters “Airbnb renters” until after noon. In the summer this is a big deal. The owners are indeed quick to respond but often do not provide useful information.

Great stay, beautiful area. Unfortunately, the communication was a bit frustrating and confusing, as the host would send constant automatic messages that were irrelevant to our stay and would ignore my previous messages (for example, messaging us to do a later check out when we had already spoken earlier and agreed to it). Also, early check and late check out were extra and on the pricey side and some of the amenities cost extra (tennis/pickleball). Otherwise, the place was perfect for what we were looking for.
