Sandbridge Stays

“We enjoyed our recent Sandbridge stay. The location was great, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Maintenance was a bit lacking as there was apparent mildew around the ceiling vents in the main living area. Also, the toilet in the master bath did not flush consistently. The stay was also very pricey, so we expected a higher level of upkeep. Overall, we had a good time and appreciated the location and how well equipped the house was.”

“The individual on-site parking was misleading as someone had parked in the designated space & never left. We contacted Sandbridge Stay who told us to park in General Parking (non-existent), don't park in the condo parking garage under any circumstance, and that we should use public parking which was across the street 2 blocks away. Very inconvenient when traveling with suit cases and crossing a major hwy. Sandbridge tried to contact the owner multiple times who's voice mail said they were out of town for the next 3 weeks. It was obvious the car parked in the designated space was the owner's who left it there while traveling. The Master bedroom TV never worked & had frayed wires hanging from the back, Bathroom fan didn't work. Oh, and bring your own bottle opener, the corkscrew was broken. An expensive off season price without parking, never again.”

“Property as a whole is very dated needs renovation desperately. Whole area seem to be original and never updated pool area needs maintenance. It smelled like a porta John. View from the 12th floor is impressive. Watch your step going out to the balcony as the threshold of the door is not in compliance to hazards.”

“Great location, gorgeous views and the sunrises on the ocean were beautiful. The condo was large enough for a family of 5 or 2 couples. The only caveat is there is only one parking spot for the unit. Other than that the stay was very pleasant.”

“The view from the 14th floor was amazing. The sunrise was so beautiful to watch . I know it was more than what I wanted to spend but in the end it was worth it.”

“Clean very well appointed unit. Had more than what was listed! The building is run down and not the cleanest but the unit itself was great! I would stay again.”

“We enjoyed our stay, however, we were informed that the ac in the upstairs bedroom was going to be out for the duration of the stay, our host gave us the option for a full refund, but we declined as it wouldn’t be to hot (we opened the window and it was fine) and they gave us a partial refund which we greatly appreciated! The upstairs Jacuzzi tub did not work, and the host offered to send someone to fix it right away. There was some wear and tear in the condo but that is expected. The swim up bar was not open as we expected it to be, which was a bit upsetting. Overall we had an amazing time, would 100% stay again (and make sure to check the weather before booking next time)!”

“The property and location were great. There were ocean views. The attached parking garage was less than half full our entire stay. For the cost, it would have been nice to be able to allow a 2nd car there. The price listed in Airbnb is deceptive. Despite what is advertised, it was over $1000 per day.”

“This condo is perfectly placed on the strip of Va Beach. Access to the beach and restaurants, and playgrounds for the littles. We didn’t have access to the laundry in the unit even though it was advertised in the listing. We also didn’t inquire either so it may have e been available if we asked. The unit was very clean and had an amazing view of the beach. The rooms on opposite sides of the condo was great for keeping the kids on one side of the condo as we adults enjoyed the other side. At night the ambient lighting in the crown molding was a great touch for movie night once the kids went to sleep. It was everything we could ask for. Communication was great! Also, if you want to take advantage of late check out you need to let the host know 48 hours in advance. We didn’t realize this because was booked last minute. It would have been nice to enjoy that because the pool opens up at 9am. Otherwise awesome unit and awesome trip!”
