Sandbridge Life Vacation Rental Sales and Rentals's guest rating of 4.73 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Backyard area was very nice. Pool was incredibly clean. House was the same as described in the description. Nice vacation spot.”airbnb

“Wonderful home, walkway to the beach is basically right across the street. Walkway is sand, as opposed to the paved ones, so you aren’t able to roll wagons and canopies, which is something to note. Pool area and overall living space is awesome! Cleanliness of bathrooms could have been better, but we used extra towels as bath mats and floor mats, so it was ok. Overall it’s a great house and we had a wonderful stay!”airbnb

“Beautiful home with a secluded piece of a canal right off the back porch. Lots of space and within walking distance of the beach. Due to location and nearby water, always be on the lookout for pests i.e. bugs and snakes.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, this was not the best airbnb experience for us. We enjoyed that the house was within walking distance of the beach, and we loved having a private pool and hot tub. However, we encountered a few issues when we arrived that made the home feel like it wasn't quite rental-ready. We found numerous ants in the house, the pots and frying pan were heavily scratched, and there wasn't a nightlight around the pool area. To the host's credit, these issues were addressed the very next day. That said, first impressions matter, and arriving to those conditions took away from what we hoped would be a relaxing start to our stay. In addition, we found multiple large trails of ants throughout the property. Unfortunately, the ants also made their way into one of our minivans, and we ended up driving it home with an ant infestation that we now have to deal with after our trip. The location was definitely the highlight of our stay, but we would not choose this particular house again.”airbnb

“For nearly $13K for a 7-night stay, we expected a luxury property that was clean, safe, and well maintained. Unfortunately, this home fell far short of those expectations. The biggest concern was safety. The deck had approximately 10 broken spindles, creating a serious fall hazard, especially for families with children. There was also a cracked toilet in the primary bathroom, a broken dining chair (that you could tell had been attempted to be screwed together multiple times in the past), several electrical outlets that did not work. The home also had numerous maintenance issues that made our stay much less enjoyable. The primary shower had visible mold, air vents were rusted with the ceiling around them falling apart, and one bed had dirty sheets upon arrival. For a home advertised to accommodate 17 guests, the kitchen was not equipped appropriately. AC could not maintain a cool temp. No hot water at the top floor.”airbnb

“Just Chillin' is a great place. Lots of space and some fun games. Beds were comfortable and the decor was cheerful. My disappointment is that for the amount of money we paid, we had to go to the local store to buy soap before we could even wash our hands, we ran out of garbage bags on the second day, and the paper products were to one ply cheapest. Also, we flew into VA and packing beach towels in our luggage was very bulky and renting a beach house without beach chairs didn't make sense to us. Somehow this great place lost the sense of hospitality.”airbnb

“It is a very nice home, but I had met with Sandbridge realty months prior to our stay. I explained that it was for my son's wedding/bridal party and that we would have the rehearsal dinner (bbq) in the grassy area by the pool. When I arrived for my son's wedding I was contacted that they had noticed rental chairs had been delivered. I explained yes, they are for the bbq. They then said it wasn't allowed due to parking restrictions. This was one day prior to the event. They never mentioned this when I went to see the home. It worked out fine since many carpooled. When we checked out I noticed that people were parking all up and down the street to access the beach. If you allow 18 people in a home and were told that there would be a rehearsal dinner, people need to park their cars. This was very upsetting being notified right when I arrived in town for the wedding. Sandbridge Realty and the owners could not understand why I was upset????”airbnb

“We have stayed in at least 40 air b And b’s over the last 7 years and almost every time things have been great; with all the amenities however we were very disappointed about our stay at 2273 Migion st in Virginia Beach. We experienced the following: -No basic toiletries- soaps, shampoo and conditioners when we arrived Brought a day later - Limited toilet paper -No beach chairs, beach umbrella, or beach towels. (At a beach home this should be standard, people can’t fly in and bring all of this on an airplane or have to pay for them once arriving ) - We asked that beach items be delivered from maintenance man who said he would bring some, but never did - On advertisement of the house it has a boat dock and a canoe picture. We where so excited to take little canoe out on the water way, however, there was a “patch” on the front of the canoe We put the canoe in the water and it leaked so we could NOT take it out on the water. Also there where no Life jackets to g”airbnb
