“Great place to stay downtown. The surrounding area was clean and safe. Great restaurants within walking distance. Wild Scoops right around the corner …. a total plus! No frills accommodations yet had all the necessities, to include the tiniest, cutest dishwasher I’ve ever seen! The patio door opened up to a small, grassy area which was perfect for my pup! And a coffee shop and yoga studio were literally just a couple steps off the patio. And several full-sized samples/gifts from local artisans were left for us to enjoy! Definitely recommend!!!”

“This spot completely suited my needs while I was running errands in Anchorage. It was easy to get to, had convenient parking, was clean and tidy, had a decent sized fridge/freezer, and had a comfortable bed. The host communicated well.”

“I would highly recommend staying at this cabin or any others at Rustic Roots. The location could not be beat. Right outside of Seward (but only a few minute drive to restaurants) made it not only peaceful but opened up to THE VIEWS. The views from this cabin are what truly made this place special. Otters swimming outside your door, the mountains, the water. The furniture was cozy, the bathroom had everything we needed, and the water was so fresh. Great spot and will easily stay here again”

“Incredible location!! Right on the water! We saw sea otters, lots of bald eagles, and a sea lion! The scenery was breathtaking. The cabin was so cozy, peaceful, and quiet. Hosts were very responsive and helpful! The shared sauna was lovely! We can’t wait to come back again in the future !”
