“We chose this place because it was the most affordable option we found. However, honestly, I did not enjoy our stay and would not rent it again. Positive points: * Very close to the beach. * Towels, soap, and shampoo were provided. * Small kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and basic kitchen utensils. * The bed was comfortable. Negative points: * Upon arrival, we found two dead cockroaches inside the apartment, and there were also ants present. * The biggest issue for me was that the bathroom did not have a sink. Having to brush our teeth in the kitchen sink, where dishes and eating utensils are washed, felt very unhygienic. * The shower curtain was dirty and stained along the bottom. * The bathroom had an unpleasant odor that smelled like urine. * The apartment is very small. Overall, this place may work well for other guests, we chose it because the reviews , but it was not a good fit for us. We were traveling with our 6-month-old baby, and clean it is important for us.”airbnb

“We really enjoyed this place! Location was excellent. Very peaceful with a very short walk to the beach. It had some walkable locals for lunch/ice cream but most restaurants required a car. The house was very comfortable and spacious. Very much great value for a beach trip.”airbnb

“I don’t know if they forgot to clean my unit or what but the big bed smelt like pee and it was stained , the living rooms rug had lots of animal hair. The fridge was dirty with food crumbs and there was leftover food in the freezer and the microwave was splattered with food. Toilet paper wasn’t provided. Also we didn’t get to enjoy the pool because we didn’t get the key for it. Besides that it wasn’t that far of a walk to the beach. The place was decent besides it being dirty.”airbnb

“Excellent location - walking distance to everything you may need. The place was nice & well kept. Had issues with AC, but it was manageable. Overall would stay again.”airbnb

“Upon arrival, found a dead cockroach and mouse droppings on the floor and dead mosquitoes on the windowsills. There were no tissues, toilet paper, napkins, or papertowels to be found. (Had to go down the street to use the bathroom. ) Sent an e-mail message to the host right away to let him know this and that there were also no toiletries (i.e. hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner) . He responded 2+ hours later saying someone would drop the items off --at the latest, tomorrow morning. So we went out to buy some things. When we returned later that evening, there was a handtowel left inside and a garbage bag with a roll of papertowels and 1 roll of toilet paper hanging on the doorknob outside the unit. Found the whole situation very disappointing. On the flip side, the location was great and the bathroom and linens were clean.”airbnb

“Great location. Killer deli/market/music across the street. Beach is very close and easy access. Very noisy (traffic RIGHT there) till the wee hours of the morning. REALLY bright giant sodium vapor light right outside the only small window that you can't open. Screen is destroyed and window does not really open. Wasn't well swept (we swept upon arrival) Minimal kitchen - must wash dishes in bathroom. But it served the purpose. A/C works very well. Cable is not really there. Was down most of the time - even with repeated booting of router. So don't depend on it. Phone data connection worked better than local cable. Parking was good for one vehicle.”airbnb

“Loved that I could literally just walk to the beach every day. Also most restaurants were fairly walkable or a short drive. Bed was comfortable and had cool lighting. AC units were loud but kept the place cool. Came with shampoo, conditioner, bar soap for hands and body. Plenty of towels. Also nice to have an outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Easy to check in and felt safe as a solo female traveler. Nice to have free parking too. It was a 1st floor unit so could hear the guests above a little but wasn’t bad. Overall was a great stay!”airbnb

“Pro's: LOCATION!! This view is wonderful. It's not busy. The permanent residents are so nice. The building is peaceful. The pool and the beach were rarely busy. The bar & grille on site is amazing! Our chairs and umbrellas were set up everyday. We also loved being a short drive away from eating and the boardwalk. Everything was super clean! The location would bring me back, for sure. Con's: It really isn't set up to host 7 people comfortably, except for sleeping and eating (a total of 11 chairs for eating). However, there is only a small couch and 1 chair in the living room and only 2 chairs on the balcony. These are the main places families spend time on vacation. The coffee pot was also tiny, only 5 cups (we had to go buy one). BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW! The linens were also very basic. So bring towels if you want a towel that covers your whole body. Overall, if you want to be on the beach with great amenities and also have a peaceful vacation, this is your spot!”airbnb

“The location and convenience were good first and foremost. The issues came down to an unusable pool and a filthy hot tub first. The property manager stated it would be fixed every single day we were there and it never did. I sent pictures to the host about how filthy the hot tub was to the point it looked green. Then on the last night we noticed the thermostat said poor air quality due to high VOC’s and high levels of CO2. We tried to open the windows just to be safe but there were not any screens which means leaving windows wide open on the second floor with two toddlers was a big no! We ended up checking the air filter and it was probably never changed, completely brown! We expressed our concerns with the host about all the issues and he stated the HOA was responsible for the pool/hot tub and could not refund a partial amount. We understand the HOA part but you are charged a premium for those amenities but when they’re not available apparently the host doesn’t do right by the client!”airbnb
