“Magical and cannot wait to return. The smallest thing was no paper towels but that's insignificant. Highly recommend. The river otters visiting on the dock were exceptional.”

“Upon arrival there were dirty rags and a used coffee cup on doorstep. There were a lot of dead bugs on the floors and in window sills. The bedroom bedding REEKED. I doubt it was washed before I came. I went out to use the jacuzzi and it was so scummy and had nasty armpit scuz marks all over. Owner had it cleaned on day 2 but i couldnt use it on day 1 or 2 until it was cleaned and heated. Pool guy left all the armpit scum marks. Just gross. I wouldnt go back to this place. Also the front door had a hole drilled into it allowing you to look through to outside, or vice versa. It just felt weird.”

“Very nice location right on the river. Home was well stocked with essentials. The only disappointment was the fake fireplace. I expected a fireplace that put out heat and this was a very little fake electric fireplace that was set inside of a real fireplace. The listing said a fireplace insert, but I was expecting a real fireplace insert that operated just like a fireplace.”

“Wow, what a find! We stayed here with a few friends and our son for 2 nights and could not really ask for more. Beautiful location right on the river, amazing kitchen, close to town, and a playground for the kiddo a 5 min walk away! We will book this one again.”

“Beautiful spot! Really nice to be able to walk down to the beach on the river, trees lining the river are super beautiful and only about a 5-10 minute walk to the golf course / coffee shop / restaurant. Beautiful time on the patio among the redwoods, would return for sure.”

“IMPORTANT: Strongly discourage any recent booking of this place due to bed bug/flea issues, until host does something about this The house itself is pretty nice, a very quiet getaway for a family of 4 or a couple of friends for a forest retreat, with plenty to do around. Has a basement suitable for focus work or group fun HOWEVER, both my partners and I suffered from noticeable and an outrageous amount of bedbugs/flea bites. Given we never had this issue at our apartment and the timeline, we could only conclude it’s from Airbnb. It’s very disappointing and itchily annoying to suffer from these bites, and hopefully we will be the last group to experience this”
