“Royal Shell was the perfect spot! The deck and view were incredible, the amenities inside made our stay just what we wanted! It was walking distance to all our favorite places and we got to see 10+ manatees right in front of the cabin. We would absolutely stay again and share the spot with anyone that asks!!”

“We had such a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning, and we especially loved relaxing by the fireplace after a day outdoors. The location was perfect—peaceful, private, and close to everything we wanted to do around Glenville Lake. The hosts clearly take great pride in the property, and it really shows. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend this place—we can’t wait to return!”

“We had a great long weekend stay. Proactive, kind, and accommodating host that provided clear instructions for check in and check out. Space was private, very clean, great amenities, and comfortable. Multiple restaurant choices and beach access within a very easy walking distance. Can easily catch the sunrise from the property’s intercostal docks and walk a few blocks to catch the sunset on the ocean front. Would recommend this host and property for those looking for a lowkey, beach stay. Thank you Royal Shell for a great stay!”

“This cottage was amazing! The location is amazing to enjoy all of the beaches and shops captiva has to offer. It is extremely walkable. The property itself was super clean and the perfect space for a getaway. Hosts were also amazing and very flexible. Worth every penny!”

Also greatly appreciate the ability to leave our car parked on property on our check-out day. The sunrise greeting from the pod of manatees in the marina was an unexpected but welcome amenity!”

“We had a fantastic stay at Bella Vita and would highly recommend it. We arrived a bit early and were happy that the host could accommodate an early check-in. The home was spacious, comfortable, and provided more than enough room for our group of seven (two couples, three singles). Great pool that receives plenty of sun throughout the day and was the perfect place to relax after spending time at the beach. The location was excellent, 10 minutes or less to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The host was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Overall, this was a wonderful property in a great location. We look forward to staying at this or another Royal Shell home the next time we visit Captiva.”

“We booked one night & have such a fabulous time we booked for another night. They were very flexible & let us check in early. Cottage was clean & beautifully decorated. Could walk to all the restaurants from our cottage. Friendly staff. We saw manatees both nights at the marina & watched a beautiful sunset. Would definitely recommend & will definitely be back next summer.”
