4.63Visit website
Royal Realty's guest rating of 4.63 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The apartment was very nice and very clean. The kitchen way also equipped with basic necessities. They provided extra towels as well. Checking instruction could have been clearer, but overall we enjoyed our stay.”airbnb

“Place was nice, easy to find, not much in the way of additional amenities so you need to purchase those basics for yourself, but it’s a great spot on the north shore, the property was beautiful, the pool was very nice and you can walk to the Turtle Bay beach.”airbnb

“I am not happy with my stay in downtown Honolulu. The light/fan in the bathroom was extremely loud it was a screeching noise like nails on a chalkboard. We ended up leaving the light/fan off because it was terrible. Only 5 towels for a 6 night stay for 2 people. Which took almost 3 days to get the other towels. The refrigerator had an awful smell. I messaged on the air bnb app multiple times and it took hours to get a response. Eventually my husband called the fill in property manager and the fan could not be fixed because it was a previous issue with the building and would inconvenience our stay to have someone come fix it. We could only get 5 towels because there is a laundry room we could wash them in if we paid for it. The bed skirt was also dirty and the wifi is a hit and miss. We did have to have the wifi company come and fix it but still did not work properly. Personally I think if you are going to come to Hawaii then find a good hotel where the staff can be there to help you.”airbnb

“Great place to stay while in the north shore area. Only suggestion I have is that the couch pullout was uncomfortable to sleep on after multiple nights. Perhaps the host could provide an air mattress if they don’t plan on replacing the couch.”airbnb

“We left after two days. Deceiving photos. Look like there’s a balcony, there isn’t. Looks like two floors, it’s not. Sliding doors to nothing just some railing there to trick you. Spiraling stairs were the worst. Hard to maneuver at night. Big drop on that first step. Two window air conditioners. Remote controlled, only one remote worked. Has ceiling fans and broken box fan provided. Consistent noise from A.C. running 24x7. Bed is just a mattress on floor. Broken beach umbrella. Window broke second day it got repaired but still needed more work. Lizards crawling around. Door lock was a pain to get in. Pool is small. No view whatsoever. This is not a place for families or elderly people. It’s on the second floor. Real disappointment. Got small compensation for days missed nothing near what we spent having to get accommodations in Honolulu. This is ran by a realty company not someone who lives there.”airbnb

“Pros: Location! Location! Location! Spacious and beautiful resort with lots to do within walking distance. 8 minute walk to beach. Private gated community that felt very safe, lots of security roaming the grounds multiple times a day. Cons: Outdated and dirty, cooking items are very low end, mouse droppings under sink, 2 inch cockroach in the living room, had to purchase our own Toilet paper, paper towels and laundry soap. Washing machine and dryer do not work/dry well. Leaves Mildew smell on clothes. The “pull out” bed on the couch was broken and miserable to sleep on. Also some of the dining chairs were broken. Final verdict: Would return to Turtle Bay resort in a heart beat but would choose a different unit.”airbnb

“Nice location. Hosts are slow to respond and have lots of generic responses saying they will review your message and respond, but then take awhile to actually respond most of the time. House had termites and cockroaches inside, so we ultimately checked out two nights early and stayed elsewhere.”airbnb

“This is about the 4th different B&B I've stayed at in the Honolulu area, and I did read some reviews already posted and noted the one that mentioned having a nice view of the Turtle Bay area (which is NOT IN THIS downtown LOCATION at all). In this 'worn but good bones' unit the bathroom exhaust fan can make disturbingly loud noises, such that I used it only when showering, otherwise relied on the 'hall' light for brushing teeth, etc. The pre-check-in instructions for the garage exit included a 'tap' gatecard system that had been updated to a flashy attendent-less 'QR' SCAN CODE, which I had to ask the realtor contact for and FINALLY got to use the LAST TWO times of about 10-12 garage exits over my 3-night stay. Different parking company people kept saying things that proved NOT to put me in the system.”airbnb

“The views from this place are absolutely beautiful, and being right by the beach is a big plus. However, cleanliness was a concern during our stay. We found hairs on the towels and bedsheets, and there was quite a bit of sand on the floors and balcony. We were traveling with a toddler, and walking barefoot indoors would quickly make the bottoms of our feet dirty, which was uncomfortable. When we informed the host about the hairs on the towels and sheets, no replacement was offered. One of the snorkel gears provided was also broken. This wasn’t a deal breaker for us, but worth mentioning for future guests. With better attention to cleaning and guest support, this could be a much more comfortable stay given the excellent location and views.”airbnb

“The view was great, and the location was great as well. I did have a problem with the AC unit. They have a note when you walk in that says you can’t turn the AC past 74 which is as a huge problem for me considering it wasn’t in the description before I booked. Also the power cut off the first night we got there and cut back on after a couple minutes and also the last night we were there a storm came through and cut the power off for the whole night. Other than that those problems the place was nice and good location.”airbnb
