“Small but adequate for 2 people. Good kitchen area. Lovely yard with chairs and porch swing and mountain view. Close to restaurants but not really walkable due to no berm on road. Also close to Beaver Meadows entrance to RMNP. Turkeys roam the property!!”

“Beautiful location. A little hard to find; had the name of the place been on the ad (Fawn Valley Inn), it would have made the matter easier.”

“The view from the deck was beautiful and peaceful with the stream running down below. The furniture in the living room could be a little more comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.”

“The only issue I truly had with this room was the fact that is smelled musty because the carpet was damp in front of the hot tub. Once my wife and I checked in I messaged the host because I noticed they had something else available and we requested to switch locations. We expressed that we would happily pay the extra money. We were ghosted, not even a simple no in response to our request. Other than that, perfect location to explore downtown Estes and drive right into the National Park.”

“The condo was what the pictures showed. Overall a nice place with a good view. Everything was in working order. There is no AC so it was hot during the afternoons/early evenings, but that was expected being in the 80s outside. The only other issue is that if you leave early on your last day there is nowhere to throw away your trash. The dumpster is locked from early evening until the office opens.”

“Unit was as described. It was very warm while we were there and while there were fans provided, it was not enough to sleep comfortably. Also, the battery died in one of the smoke detectors so we got to play find the beeping sound at 1am until a maintenance man arrived. The owner seemed unconcerned about the issue when I let him know. The location is definitely the best thing about this unit.”

“The house was clean and had good amenities. However there were a number of issues. First, the smoke detectors malfunctioned at 11:45 pm waking up all of us. It took 20 minutes for maintenance to respond, the whole time the smoke detectors were blaring. We barely received an apology and no sort of compensation. Then the staff decided to install air conditioning during our stay (we were asked if this was ok) but this was also inconvenient. Finally, there are a number of technical problems including a bathroom and bedroom door that did not lock. Finally the futon, while functioning as a bed, also kept folding up slightly in the middle. So although the location was excellent and the amenities (towels etc) very nice, I would say the management is not customer service oriented. I would stay somewhere else next time.”

“It worked for what I needed - getting into RMNP early. Took about 20 minutes to get into bears lake corridor. The bed was also extremely comfy and the decor is nice - but I can’t give 5 stars because the table was really sticky with something, and some of the dishes had a noticeable odor. I only stayed one night so it wasn’t a big deal, probably would pick somewhere else for a longer stay though. I also directly asked the host a question in the Airbnb chat about some park information, and he just ignored me with no response.”

“This Air BnB is located in a great area. It’s 5-10 minutes away from pretty much every attraction in Estes Park. The only thing that didn’t make the experience worth it was the air conditioning situation. I know it’s listed, but I feel like it needs to be stated somewhere more explicitly. It’s summer in CO and when we got to the Air BnB to check in, all the windows were closed and to combat the heat we were expected to open only two available windows and utilize only two available fans. This did not cool the Air BnB down in time especially since we had to check in after 4:00 p.m. according to the reservation. Sleeping there the first night was so uncomfortable that my husband and I decided to leave early the next day, especially because we brought out dogs who were noticeably fatigued and uncomfortable as well. I asked for a partial refund which the host did not grant. Great location but I think something needs to be done about the AC if possible.”
