Manager Review

Rjouney

Rjouney's guest rating of 4.76 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

No, no disclosure that you had to bring your own bath soaps. Any cabin we have rented has had small soaps for shower. The kitchen pans were way to small for 4 people and no baking sheets for oven. Was not well stocked. It was very hot, should have had decent clean working fans. One chair for outside porch and only 3 chairs for inside table for a 4 person cabin. The cabin was cute and clean.

Cabin located in beautiful Well kept campground. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything. Please note: unit is not air conditioned and not sure why but there was a TV in the room that had no signal. Would have given 5 stars but could not reach anyone with question after hours. (Email, ph, Airbnb msg). Would definitely stay again.

The cabin is in a good location -- it's a quiet place with a nice patio, great views, and a decent charcoal grill. However, we encountered a few issues during our stay. The cleanliness could have been much better, the bathroom sink wouldn't drain properly, the air conditioner was very noisy, and there was a strange issue where the front door occasionally shocked us slightly. We tried contacting the host to let them know, but unfortunately, we didn't get a response. Hopefully, these things can be fixed soon.

We were booked to stay here during our trip to Bryce Canyon. We checked in after an exhausting day of hiking, only to discover the following: hair in the shower and sink, a VERY filthy toilet with poop stains, boogers in the sink and on the pillowcase, a smoke detector that was open and without a battery, hair in the sheets that our kids were supposed you be sleeping on, our daughter saw bugs in her bed, and black inky spots that google lens identified as bedbugs feces. We tried to contact the owner, but he was non-responsive and we had to connect with AirB&B customer support for a refund, in addition to the headache of trying to find a new place to stay with two very tired, very cranky children, which took until after 11pm. If not for the issues listed above, it would have been a wonderful stay. The location was great, but unless we came in our own RV, we wouldn't book there again.

On the second and final day of our stay the power had gone out at noon and we were never notified. When we returned from our day out is when we found nothing was working. Power did not get restored until around midnight.

Ok stay. Disappointed by lack of cleanliness, missing kitchen utensils/cookware, and specific essentials that most AirBnBs have. One of the shops I’ve burners would only operate on HI which burned the food. All countertops and floors were filthy and had to clean when arrived. We made due and the stay was just fine otherwise.

I have mixed feelings about Kurtis Ashby's place. It is very well situated, near Bryce canyon and Zion, with beautiful surroundings and a lovely view from the terrace of the cabin. However, the inside of the cabin was very disappointed. The fridge smelt really bad when we opened it! And there was also a smell of urine when we entered the bathroom. Also, the beds of the kids were not made, and we never managed to switch on the TV. Finally, our neighbours were noisy till 11 pm.

Did not enjoy the RV park setting. The cabin had holes in the screen, a large gap under the door, and mosquitoes were out. The path to the beach is creepy and poorly marked (never did make it). Wifi instructions were outdated, and I could not get connected. Bathroom was disgusting. This is an RV park where people seem to be living long-term. Bad vibes in the area. I didn't even bother staying overnight, just packed back up and left because I was only a couple hours from home and that is much preferred over what this was. Bummer!

Wouldn’t book this campground on Airbnb. Arrived at check-in time, only to be met with office “closed” sign and paperwork missing related to the reservation. By chance, when a groundskeeper spotted me, he opened the office, checked their files and said there was no record of the reservation, plus he had never heard of the Airbnb host. I had to call Airbnb support, and while I was waiting for assistance, noted that the first photo in the listing doesn’t match any views from the campground, and started to wonder if the listing was a scam. My husband, who was waiting in the car with our dog, said check-in was taking so long that he figured something was wrong and anticipated having to drive hours away for alternate lodging.
