Rjouney's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Beds were SO uncomfortable the family collectively decided to checkout out 2 nights early, thick coating of sand and dirt all over floor right when we arrived. No bath tub/room floor mats cause some close calls/falls with my baby.”airbnb

“The photos for the location did not adequately express the small size of the location. The WiFi was also not working the entire stay.”airbnb

“We arrived and the office manager said the AC unit in our cabin was leaking and had a few towels on the floor to catch the water. We opened the door and the smell of toxic cleaner was so strong it hurt my nose. I looked down and the unit was flooded. Went back to the desk, told her we wanted a different cabin. She was not thrilled but said ok. Made us wait another hour. She was also running the fast food counter and making food for her kids instead of helping people at the desk even though her son told her there were people at the front desk waiting for her. We finally got the keys to unit 84 - and again, this strong toxic cleaner smell that gave me a headache. It was so strong on the mattress that I couldn’t sleep. It permeated all the clothes in my suitcase and it stunk when I got home and had to wash them all, and my sleeping bag. Plus the shower dripped all night, the AC didn’t reach the back bedroom, the porch light didn’t work and the door latch was broken. Not good.”airbnb

“Hate writing bad reviews but I'm going to be honest. We had a group stay in cabin 89L and 92 at the baraboo campsite. 89L: the loft was dirty. One member in our group had to sleep next to a pile of dead beatles, and a pile of loose insulation that had fallen next to a PVC pipe. I'm not sure how long it had been since someone went up there to vacuum. It was really gross. The cabin provided us with expired coffee creamer from 2020, 6 years ago. The microwave kept going out and we were worried we wouldn't be able to eat. We unplugged it a few times and it finally worked again Someone before us left their socks. Air conditioning and ceiling fan worked wonderfully in the cabin though, which made sleeping comfortable. It was cheap, but thought someone would vacuum the cabin every now and then. And maybe upgrade the microwave and creamer. Cabin 92: comfortable. The lofts are extremely hot. Hard to sleep in. The beds downstairs were comfortable with air flow. Cabin was spacious”airbnb

“When we arrived after a long day of driving there was no map in the mailbox. We eventually figured out where our cabin was then discovered it was locked after being told it would be open with the keys inside. We spent about 40 minutes waiting for a response, but eventually left to seek another place to stay. The Baraboo Best Western came in clutch! Was initially excited for this stay, but the lack of communication was disappointing.”airbnb

“Although the campground was nice, AC worked well, and cabin well represented, I have not been able to reach the owner the night of, or since, about bed bug concerns. I do not blame the owner that there are bugs (as it just takes one bad renter to bring them), but frustrated that text number did not work so I could ask about issue or have re-embursement for stay. Instead, since messaging is no longer working, I have to give a poor review in order to tell the owner and warn next person staying. Since bugs did not hop or fly, and match as least one stage of bug development from examining bugs in mattress, we have laundered everything when we got back and would like room checked before next guest arrived. Thanks!”airbnb

“Location was dirty. We could not use the bathtub as they was hair left behind in it and the drain was clogged making it where we could even clean it ourselves. Bathroom sink faucet was broken. Kitchen sink faucet was broken. Multiple places for fire alarms, but only one fire alarm in the whole unit. Ceiling fans were absolutely disgusting. They also hummed and made weird noises when operating. Air conditioner had an odor filters need to be cleaned. Location was extremely small My service dog could not walk around properly. She had to back out of the bedroom due to space being so small. Overall, I would not come back due to the lack of cleanliness. This used to be the KOA and is not currently being cared for properly.”airbnb

“While the idea of this resort is great, ensure that the tiki bars and restaurant will be open during your stay to get the full experience. Unfortunately, during our 3-day stay, neither of the tiki bars were open and the restaurant was only open one day. When ordering our food at the restaurant, the front staff explained they were closing early. After our order was placed, the kitchen staff audibly showed their frustration. The playground and jump pad close at 8:00, which is disappointing as there is no other play area for children. We planned on spending majority of our time at this resort, and we're found trying to find other places to eat, entertain children, and enjoy the outdoors.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. I reached out to the host on Thursday before check-in with a simple question and never received a response. When we arrived, we found several issues that made our stay uncomfortable. The bathtub had a thick buildup of grime, not just staining, and the faucet continuously leaked. The toilet and sink were also stained, the bathroom had a strong unpleasant odor, and the water coming from the faucets was yellow, so we didn’t feel comfortable giving our kids a bath. When it rained, there were multiple leaks throughout the cabin. We also had a major ant problem, and they got into the food we had on the counter, ruining about half of it. Between the condition of the cabin, the maintenance issues, and the complete lack of communication from the host, we decided to leave early. The location was nice, but the cabin was not as advertised, and our experience was very disappointing. I hope these issues are addressed so future guests don’t have the”airbnb

“We were booked to stay here during our trip to Bryce Canyon. We checked in after an exhausting day of hiking, only to discover the following: hair in the shower and sink, a VERY filthy toilet with poop stains, boogers in the sink and on the pillowcase, a smoke detector that was open and without a battery, hair in the sheets that our kids were supposed you be sleeping on, our daughter saw bugs in her bed, and black inky spots that google lens identified as bedbugs feces. We tried to contact the owner, but he was non-responsive and we had to connect with AirB&B customer support for a refund, in addition to the headache of trying to find a new place to stay with two very tired, very cranky children, which took until after 11pm. If not for the issues listed above, it would have been a wonderful stay. The location was great, but unless we came in our own RV, we wouldn't book there again.”airbnb
