“This place is beautiful, serene and peaceful. I enjoyed all the greenery and the access to a private creek area. I brought my older dog so if you plan on bringing an older dog that you cant carry, just be aware that the stairs to walk back up are a little steep and were a bit of a struggle for him. Thankfully we had our own doggy stairs that we were able to utilize to make it easier. The creek that we accessed is also rocky, not sandy, so bring chairs or a cushiony something if you want to lounge at the creek. The water was clear, crisp and refreshing. My dog thoroughly enjoyed it. We enjoyed the outside area and all the sounds of nature. The house was well stocked and clean, but it did have a strange smell throughout that was hard for me to get used to. The binder of info had some outdated information from 2015, so it may be helpful to update that for future power outages. Overall, we appreciated the quiet, the beauty and responsiveness.”

“Our stay in the redwoods and creekside was awesome. The host communicated all instructions and expectations super clearly and timely. Always felt supported. Kitchens was really well stocked for guests. Really awesome to have direct access to the creek and let the dogs play along the creek. What a magical stay and highly recommend it!”

“The communications with River Homes was great. They always got back to use quickly. The Cazadero home was very nice. The Auston river behind the home was very clean, you could see all the rocks that accumlated below the surface and it had a gentle flow to it. My brother spent time going back and forth to each side of the river. The home had a family vib to it which was very comfortable to be around. I would recommed this home to anyone. Again thank to all for your help in may our stay great. john”

“We enjoyed a lovely stay. The home was quaint but yet spacious for our party of six. It was well stocked and equipped with all the amenities. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Definitely recommend.”

“Gorgeous home. Gorgeous locale. Amazing yard and gardens, including fruit, veg and herbs you can pick and use! The light switches, and blinds on switches, and even music-it’s obvious whoever owns and manages it has an eye for detail and likes to have things nice. Also, awesome cotton bedding!! Sometimes we stay places that have polyester sheets😢 Keep it up. We wish Sebastopol was 5 minutes closer. And I walk a lot, so I wish the main road had a shoulder to feel more safe. Great stay!”

“Comfortable, clean home with well-stocked kitchen and ample room for our party of 4 to spread out. In a quiet and peaceful location on Austin Creek and within a short distance of both the Russian River and the Pacific Ocean. Great base for swimming in the river or the ocean, rafting, hiking, birdwatching or just relaxing on the porch overlooking the creek. Easy check in and check out.”
