“When i see HOME for rent I instantly think a house or cabin. This was a glorified apartment with neighbors. Which was not terrible but I booked this trip so we could be in a secluded cabin in the words or something like that. My wife and I brought our young children so that I could set up a tent&show em some basic camping things but when we arrived I realized it was not that type place. It was 3rd floor which meant walking up alot of stairs anytime we wanted outside. It had a nice balcony with a good view. I was happy about that. Pics appeared to be ground level but it was not. Another reason I wanted something off away from others was because my youngest cries loud sometimes and my oldest is autistic and can be really loud. So we were inconvenienced with quiet hours. It apppeared clean but must have been really dusty on the tall wood celings. We all had runny noses and sneezed alot. Dumpster was padlocked Gotta take stinky trash in car with you to dispose of it. That was horrible.”

“The house was great…clean, great location, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable. I would stay there again without a doubt. The only issue we really experienced was that the grill was out of propane. When I contacted the rental company about the propane they initially said we could swap out the tank at their office but needed to ensure they had some on hand… then replied an hour later saying, “Hi, unfortunately we don't have any propane available but you can get some at Lowes grocery store or at the Mountain Supplies. Let me know if you need further assistance.” When paying $3,499.11 for 4 nights, I shouldn’t have to restock their propane using my own money! I realize that’s nothing major, but it was ridiculous!”

“Where do I start…… First, I have never had to take trash 5 miles away from the property. When we finally enter house there was a huge tear on the vinyl flooring then another one in the kitchen by the dishwasher. My kids and I tripped over it a few times. The sheets, blankets, and pillows smells dingy as tho they haven’t been washed. They were NOT freshly replaced for us. I brought my kids with me and the first child took a warm shower. The second one took a 2 min shower because the water got cold. By the time it was my turn I didn’t have any hot water. The second night we realized we had to spread our bath times a few hours apart just to get a descent temperature. Everything in the kitchen is super old. No garbage disposal. Two tiny trash bins. Why not just provide one big one? Furniture could use an updating. The entire house is very dated. I don’t think it’s worth over $500 a night.”
