Manager Review

Renters Club

Renters Club's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Cute and interesting place to stay, bohemian style. Great location, walkable to many places. Good coffee. Confused by the two addresses we had, even when we tried to follow the address they sent via email. Had to call to make sure we were in the right place. No microwave. Utility room/laundry/closet is a lot of clutter and that is the view from the bed 🫣. The fridge was cute and retro but it smelled very bad (VERY strong smells of some kind of food). Light above the shower was flikering....could not use it. Some towels were worn out. We had an OK/ good stay but we think the price was high for 2 night stay

There were several issues with the rental when we arrived: - the front door lock didn’t work and had to be remotely unlocked by the host. This issue persisted through the stay - the ceiling in the living / lounge room was peeling and hanging from the roof - the side screen door to the back yard was loose and at one point fell off its hinge, which we had to reattach - the hot water in the shower in the master bedroom didn’t work - the air conditioning seemed faulty and inaccurate, although mitigated by the presence of fans On a positive note, the location in East Austin was great, however the issues with the house mentioned above should be fixed before renting the place out.

The air conditioner was set way too cold and the home was freezing. It was difficult to reset to a different temperature. We also found a dead cockroach on the carpet. The garbage bin outside was filthy.

Great space. Terrific location. Overall, great experience. But I hated the excessive long contract that renters club requires, asking ages of me and all possible guests. While the place was great….i can’t use Renter’s Club again for this reason. Also, while the back porch was nice for hanging out. The old metal chairs were sooooo uncomfortable and a little bent. Just spend $50 on a few plastic chairs please. Also, no microwave to reheat my coffee, you could put a $50 microwave in the laundry area. Other than that, great location and place.

Beautiful property and house. Very private - had deer in the yard. House is new, nicely furnished, and very clean. We really enjoyed the patio and pool. We enjoyed dining in Dripping Springs and went to Wimberly for shopping. Only issue was the hot tub did not work for our entire 5 night stay. After multiple messages to the owner starting on the day of our arrival, someone came to check it on our last day and it couldn’t be repaired. We were given compensation, but were disappointed that it wasn’t available and the issue was not timely addressed. Overall a very nice place.

We live in AirBnBs 150days a year or 2 weeks a month. This locations has many greats. (1) Location less than 20mins to AUS airport, walkable and peaceful (2) Build quality is good, new but vintage elements and mostly well thought out. (3) Garage and dedicated drive way. (4) Our main qualm was managements execution a few things : trash can left in hot garage leaving maggots to produce larvae that filled house with flying bugs and nats everywhere. Cleanliness (floors were not mopped in a while, cobwebs visible and dirty stones and sand on the floors of every room . Also attention to comfort amenities and toiletry (towel) presentation and minimum well thought conveniences like hassle free keyless access to property and a great coffee maker were lacking. Overall good experience only after we went out and bought a mob and broom to mop ourselves and bought raid to address bugs that were flying through out the place and maggots in trash can. If above items addressed would rent again.

This was the worst Air BnB I’ve experienced. We arrived at the property and found another family was already settling in. I guess somehow the other family was given our key code (negligent and unsafe). When we tried to contact the owners they were unavailable until the next morning, meaning I had to scramble to find alternate lodging for my family. When I finally spoke to a rep, she made me feel like this was MY FAULT and that somehow I had entered the wrong code (I was pissed). When they found out they had indeed given the code to another family, they offered for us to stay in the adjacent facility, but offered no other discounts or attempts to make their mistake right. We were refunded for the first night but nothing else. On top of this the hot tub (a major factor in the selection of this property) was cold. This rental group is awful, unavailable, and pretentious. Avoid at all costs!

This was a great spot for a Bachelor party, good location and walkable to a lot of places. Close drive to popular spots in Austin. The house is in good condition and it was easy to get in, and we were given early check in. My only issue was both propane tanks were near empty when we arrived, so we couldn’t use the grill or the fire pit very much.

Great location, that’s about it. First impression was the place is poorly maintained. There was no landscaping done. Walked in, cracks in the ceiling all over the place, probably from the stress of the solar panel installation. Pool wasn’t treated or vacuumed. Asked the host to treat and vacuum it, they just treated it. When asked to come back and vacuum, was told “it’s supposed to rain”. Rained for 30 min all weekend. Gutters so clogged there were waterfalls. Main sanitary pipe leaving the house was clogged. Looked like someone tried to fix with a toilet brush, as there was a dirty toilet brush on the back deck. 5 hours that we couldn’t use the bathrooms in the house. Mildew on the guest house bed headboard, flooring materials stored under the guest house bed, a leak under the guest house shower that was creating mold outside. The giant roach was the cherry on top. We did receive a 1 night reimbursement, but only after lobbying with Air BNB. Stay somewhere else. Horrible value.

The house was nice. Super close to restaurants and coffee shops. Very clean and super nice kitchen /living room/ entertainment area. The beds and comforters are great! Haven’t slept so good in years! Check in was very easy but they don’t allow early check ins. And check in is at 4pm… a bit late if I might say.
