Rent On Your Terms's guest rating of 4.57 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“THIS LOCATION HAS BEDBUGS DO NOT STAY HERE******** I’m unable to show the images of the bites that I have in my arms and hands. I am positive that this location has bedbugs. They’re refusing to acknowledge the pictures I’ve sent to them. Three hours after checking out on the first day my arms and fingers became very itchy. A few hours later they have blisters and our pussy and one of them is a deep purple. THIS LOCATION HAS BEDBUGS DO NOT STAY HERE.”airbnb

“Stay like you are back in the 80's with no internet, which meant no TV. Internet was constantly down, and when it would connect the only thing we could do was check email; could not work, watch TV, etc. The garage door needs to have a key pad on the door, having to pull in, walk around the building to open the door from the inside is a major pain and since the neighborhood has some shady people, it was a bit worrisome. Forget about using the roof deck, unless you just wat to stand around, since there is no patio furniture; the space is kind of useless. For the high price paid, I was expecting a lot more.”airbnb

“It was ok , but not happy about the pictures not matching what was really there . The bed didn’t seem like a king size bed . There were no blankets . Usually the Airbnb I have stayed in provided extra blankets. There was no soap to wash hands . We had to run to target to grab some . The house needs a little renovation a touch up done .”airbnb

“Should really consider better landscaping. We truly understand you can’t do anything about the weather. But do to horrible landscaping, when rains the huge mud/water puddles makes it horrendous to get to the front door. Then it rain 2 of the 3 days there. So we had crazy mud puddles and mud tracked through the house because it was nothing you could do!! Inside 8/10 but if weather is bad. Makes for a horrible experience getting to the front door”airbnb

“The home was extremely dirty upon arrival. The yard is surrounded by other dogs and the owner is trying to have me pay for pest control treatment. I was able to provide lots of pictures of the dirty condition of the home. I feel scammed by this owner.”airbnb

“This is a nice, clean, and well located property. We had issues with the HVAC while there. We would set it to 70º but it would just run all day and struggle to get below 72º until the middle of the night, and would stay around 73-74 throughout the day. It was very warm in the house. The hosts said it was normal, but it's clear that it's not. I've owned 8 residences/rental properties and am well aware if something has an issue. It's a relatively small property with two HVAC units..it should be able to cool off the whole house in a very short time. Separately, someone walked in the house in the day time without knocking. It turned out that it was a miscommunication between the management and someone else, but it was just a bad experience. Instead of saying sorry and backing out, he just kept coming in and said "hey, I'm here to show the house to someone". We were caught very off-guard. Overall, it's a good property in a good place. We were just let down by our experience.”airbnb

“Main issue is the cleanliness. Extremely dirty on the inside and out. Mold and fungus growing in the backyard. Numerous bugs everywhere, both dead and alive. A horrible sewage smell throughout. Very dirty floors and windows caked with dirt and bugs. Bees also have colonized not only a massive portion of the outside but pest control and maintenance both said that bees have invaded the entire house in the walls. The management company (it’s a management company by the way, not an individual owner) made it seem like only the night that I started to find alive bees was the only problematic day for me. Didn’t understand that bees don’t colonize and invade into the walls in just a few days. Was told none of this and even when some random lady came by to give me bee spray she didn’t say anything then next day pest control randomly shows up without saying anything. Extremely dirty. Probably better staying at a shady motel because it’s the same quality of place”airbnb

“Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. The biggest issue was the strong smell of old cigarette smoke throughout the house as soon as you walk in. I brought this up to the property manager right away because I was staying long-term with my newborn and was concerned about the environment. The manager completely denied there was any smell, even though it was extremely obvious, and refused to provide any type of refund or accommodation. We ended up having to find alternate accommodations while still paying for this place, which was very frustrating. The house itself was also not very clean. Some of the towels appeared dirty, the beds were uncomfortable, and there were very few outlets near the living room couch area which made things inconvenient. The lawn was overgrown with weeds and did not appear maintained. Overall, the neighborhood and surrounding area also did not feel very comfortable or well kept. Do not recommend.”airbnb

“There were some type of liquid stains on the sofa and a cigarette burn hidden under a pillow when I arrived. Since they were already there, I thought the rental place knew about the stains so I did not report it. When I departed, they wanted to charged me to get their sofa cleaned from the stains that had already been there. Unacceptable! That goes to show you cannot trust anytime out there. Be careful! Other than that, the home was ok. Furniture was loose and unexpected. Beds are very firm. They give you just enough for your visit.”airbnb

“Immediately upon arrival we saw plumbing issues. There’s a list of what the apartment comes with on a sheet framed on the mantle, and it’s COMPLETELY INCORRECT. There are no sofa beds at all. You have to go through one bedroom to get to the other. Super inconvenient. They also have bug killer chemical smell everywhere and it’s from the gallon of bug killer that they clearly consistently use to combat the bugs that slip in to the home through all of the unchecked cracks in the house. When we called them about the water issues, they moved us to another Airbnb, but when we got there they gave us all the wrong directions, codes etc. We were outside before we ultimately had to just get a hotel. Terrible management terrible location, do not recommend!”airbnb
