Rent in Myrtle
4.54Visit website
Rent in Myrtle's guest rating of 4.54 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Our stay at the beach condo was overall nice. The condo was a little small for five people, but it was still comfortable and worked for our trip. The biggest issue was parking. I really wish they would have informed guests ahead of time that larger vehicles should park on the other side, because I ended up scratching my vehicle trying to park in the designated area. Thankfully, the security guard was helpful and directed us to the correct parking area for larger vehicles, which made things easier afterwards. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would still recommend this place to others.”airbnb

“I wouldn't stay here again though there were some good things about this stay: *responsiveness of the host *direct beach access *allows pets *lg space *4 bed/bath. First, I was asked to give my personal info to the host directly - including my credit card information! The entire reason for using Airbnb is so that I do not have to give that info to strangers. After finding out in the rules section that it is required to give my personal info due to this being a property mgt listing, I had to comply (my fault for not seeing it sooner) but DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO! Also *there were no locks or screens on the windows or sliding glass door. There was a sm wooden deck with a "breakfast bar" that blocked the view of the ocean from inside *rusty table outside with no chairs for it *Dining table was large but there was food on the table & chairs *paint chipping on furniture & lamp shade *blinds broken in bdrm *wooden railing loose *water damage on flr in bdrm. Hope it gets fixed”airbnb

“I had fun the door just leaked when it rained. Also, the shower didn’t have good pressure.”airbnb

“When we arrived, we inquired about checking in early, was told cleaning crew was still in unit, they were not, as we were right outside unit. Was told toilet holder was broken, not biggie. Inside unit, Nothing pictured was as it seemed. Couch has stains and stool in one room was broken. Room was dusty, I could write my name in dust on microwave. Beds had sheets basically, no bedding as pictured. A picture that should have been on the wall was in the closet? not sure why. No bedding for sleeper, had about 3 towels for our party of 6. Tub Shower does not drain while using. Went out and purchased our own due to slow response from "emergency" number and slow response from host. Host gave partial reimbursement, and a small discount on first night. Host did seem slow to respond when there were questions with issues, but quick to respond if it was something good. Only upside to this visit was being able to walk to the beach easily. Nothing about his place would I ever recommend to anyone.”airbnb

“The resort as a whole and the views from the balcony are fantastic! The many heated pools, Starbucks in the lobby, easy parking and direct access to the beach were fantastic! The unit itself was fine but could definitely use some updating especially additional seating, decor and supplies such as more towels and kitchen supplies. Our biggest concern was the cleanliness of the unit. There was a distinct smell, almost like someone had a rabbit living there. We bought air fresheners and febreeze but the smell lingered. There was also garbage left behind the Murphy bed and pull out couch when we got them ready to use.”airbnb

“parking is hard in parking garage people are coming out. You have to back all the way down after your half way up on first level”airbnb

“location was great- it was the smaller inconveniences like not being able to have refreshed towels or daily room service that gives this rental less than 5 stars. also while pools & beach we accessible, access to the water park next door would have been appreciated as well. I've learned reserving certain spaces thru air bnb has limitations that people need to be made aware of. maybe i missed that part. I was very disappointed in lack of cleaning services though. I had 3 children with me-so these mentions are bigger for me than they may be for others.”airbnb

“The 3 adults on this trip are all in the property mgmt business, so we know the proper way to maintain a home, and respond to issues. The front door was badly warped, making it hard to get in and out. The property is marketed as pet friendly, yet the grass isn’t maintained, and is full of stickers; our dog had to have over 20 stickers pulled and cut out of her fur. The a/c was broken. I reported it 2 hours after check in. It was never fixed, and the host spent the first day telling me I must be doing something wrong. By day 2 a technician was sent out, and by evening of day 2 I was told it would be fixed until “first thing” on day 3; she offered to move us to another unit, but our trip was almost over, and this should have been her very first offer on day 1, not near the end of the trip. We left 1 day early bc it was so hot and we hadn’t slept in 2 days. We left at 11:30am on day 3, and no technician had yet come. Hosts also lied to Airbnb support and said the a/c broke on day 2.”airbnb
