“The house is beautifully well kept. Even though I have only 2 concerns, I would still give this place 10 stars if possible. 1. It is not a good set up for older people. Too many steps. there's only one bedroom on the main floor, the master bedroom, and I had to give it up because my parents could not hike the steps. 2. The pool noise is really noticeable late at night. Other than that, I had a wonderful weekend an Legacy and I am trying to book again as I write.”

“Excellent place to stay for our annual golf trip. Right on hole 1 of Lodestone, and was loaded with amenities and was a huge space for all of us. Space was super clean and is a perfect place for families or just friends looking to be at deep creek. Highly recommend!!!”

“We came here with a group of friends. Overall the place was great and had a relaxing time with friends. The indoor pool is quite small and was not heated. That would be the only complaint. Other than that everything that was good.”

“The house was nice and looked like the pictures. Great view of the lake, with an easy walk to the water. However, the home next door was having their roof replaced so there was loud hammering and talking that went on during all daylight hours for the duration of our stay. Additionally, there was loud power tools from trees being cleared and construction at another nearby property. All of this could be heard inside the house even with the TV on. This made it impossible to relax or enjoy any part of daylight hours at the house. There was also white dog fur in multiple places that was not fully cleaned. There was no acknowledgment or response from the owner to my message and concerns.”

“We stayed four nights at Sunshine Chalet. The house is great and the lake view is fabulous. The basement gets cold even with the thermostat at 74, so bring something warm. There were spiderwebs on several windows, the ceiling fans, and the basement screens, so not sure how recently it was cleaned (everything else looked fine). We reported a few small issues during our stay (long grass by the fire pit, a loose bathroom shelf, an ice maker that only made crushed ice), and the management company didn't follow through on any of them, so don't count on quick fixes. A lovely house overall, but the management experience kept us from a full recommendation.”

“It all started the first morning. Waking to the sounds of a concrete saw and bobcat less than 50ft away directly next door. Think the sound of a chain saw... on steroids... at 7am. Those sounds and more continued throughout the entire day until about 3-4pm. Next morning, same thing. Husband messaged the host. They stated they had no idea this was happening and someone would be out to talk to them about 'quiet hours' at the lake. However, he had to remind them that this is not the quiet escape we payed for. No response. 3rd morning no noise until about 8am. However, all other construction type noise (BEEP BEEP BEEP CRASH etc.) continued throughout the day. 4th day, 740am. Concrete saw, BEEP BEEP BEEP, boom bang crash. All day. Husband messaged them again. They apologized and offered a 'partial refund'. We left the next day. 9 days later still no refund. I messaged them to ask. Ghosted. 3 more days go by. Messaged them yet again. Finally a response of 'a refund has been sent'. Not happy.”
