“This was a perfect home for our stay. It was spacious for our family of six with young children. The neighborhood is new and quiet and very close to everything. The home is beautifully decorated and had games for the kids and a large back yard. Highly recommend this home when on St. Simons Island.”

“The house was stunning! We had one issue with the water heater but the on call guy came quickly and fixed it! Great location and easy to walk to the main areas! The pool was very nice and perfect place for family and kids.”

“Good initial communication and permitted early access on the day of arrival. The Real escapes office was somewhat challenging to find particularly given it was our first visit to the area. The photos and description are accurate although the body of water is more of a pond than a lake. The presence of the turtles and catfish was a nice surprise and the provision of turtle food was a plus. While it was great that this property is located on a corner lot it is in an area where the houses are close together, the roads are narrow with trees in the middle of some of them and no sidewalks. We are very appreciative that this is pet friendly as well as having a small fenced backyard. Due to an accident we had to leave early. Real escapes did not acknowledge the notification that I provided them via the AirBNB messaging service.”

“Leapin Lizard is a beautiful beach cottage that gets you right into the beach mood as soon as you walk in. The color scheme and decor couldn’t have been any better for a tropical beach setting. The fenced in backyard created our own little jungle paradise where we could relax and let our little doggies run around and have fun. Very close to the beach and right in the middle of both food/shop areas on the island. We had an amazing adventure and most importantly our dogs loved it too!”

“This was a disappointing home due to the lack of cleanliness. The home itself has a great layout and offers plenty of room for a large family. The backyard and pool area are very small. The home has definitely had some wear on it. Unfortunately, the home was not cleaned at check-in. All interior rugs were stained as well as 5 of the 6 mattresses (yellow stains on all). Bed pillows were flat and stained. Excessive mildew in shower and washing machine, which had a sour smell. Refrigerator had a spill between the shelving that had not been cleaned. Inside trash can was filthy from old, household trash. The pool/decking were full of debris. A used ZYN patch was stuck to the side of a bed. Do NOT use kitchen spices and/or food that you did not bring when you travel. The flour was in a clear canister and it was full of bugs/mites. We sent concerns to the Property Mgr at check-in and never received a call. We had to call them on day 3 to speak with someone.”
