“Beautiful canal front home. Everything as pictured. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. Had a few issues with the property management but I feel that is to be expected. And nothing can ruin an obx vaca!”

“We recently stayed at the Spanish style Oasis for a week. It was everything we were looking for. The pool was the highlight of our stay and the pool and backyard did not disappoint. The pool was very nice. We really appreciated the very private backyard. The only thing that would make it better is more comfortable outdoor seating. We didn't like that there were no cushions on loungers or the dining table chairs. The house was nice. Everything was clean and very welcoming. The kitchen is a great usable space that is fairly well stocked with the necessities. We did have to buy a set of bowls (no big deal). We cooked all our meals at the house. We loved the outdoor bbq area. We used it daily. The bed in master bedroom was comfortable (it's the only bed we used). The bathrooms were very clean and well stocked with towels. We loved having access to the garage for parking the car and appreciated having the garage door opener. We enjoyed our time and definitely plan to stay again.”

“Beautiful home in a safe location, looks just like the photos. Our experience was impacted by cleanliness/maintenance issues. A 5-star stay starts with cleanliness, and this home did not meet that standard. It needs a deep cleaning ASAP. There was excessive dust under the beds and on the ceiling fans, which was especially difficult since several members of my family have allergies. When we arrived, there was leftover food from a prev seafood boil inside the oven, along with garbage. The amount of built-up grease inside the hood was concerning and could become a fire hazard. Grills were also extremely dirty. I contacted the host asking if someone could come clean the inside stove thinking I’d use outside ones..no one ever arrived. Instead, I spent part of our vaca cleaning the grills/stove, removing leftover lemons/crab legs from previous guests. Another major concern was the dead bird near the ping pong table no one came for 2days then suddenly ‘closed’ we removed it! ON MY MOMS 50th!”

“Negative checkout experience. Around the time of checkout a black SUV pulls over on the opposite side of the street to what seemed like “survey” us and make sure we’re out. Felt very uncomfortable and rushed especially with the kids. Once I pull away in my car the owner of the SUV (she never introduced herself ,asked us about the stay, nothing) pulls in and confronts my mother about trash on the ground. Mind you there was trash around the whole property the first day we got there due to it being windy and the neighbors trash can being knocked over. The situation is explained to the lady in the SUV and she says she’s going to take pictures. That’s fine and all as we have pictures of the property when we first arrived. The one positive from the situation was that the concierge team listened to our concerns, acknowledged them, and assured us they would address the matter.”
