“The location was great, but you had to use a weird third-party app to check-in and check-out that was pretty clunky. You also add to sign a pretty extensive contract on that app. The water pressure in the shower was bad, and there was somebody sawing wood outside the window while we were there, which was pretty loud.”

“Beautiful property! Nestled in the woods but 5 -10 minutes to town. Peaceful & quiet. The house itself was clean & well furnished with anything we needed! We especially enjoyed the large screened in porch! Pool & hot tub were nice! Would definitely recommend for large family groups or several couples. Plenty of space & beds!”

“This Airbnb was very quaint - a renovated chicken coop. Unfortunately, the hot tub didn’t work during our stay, which was very disappointing since it was one of the main reasons we booked. If you want a place with a decent hot tub this is not it - basically a plastic bucket with tepid, dirty water. Communication from the host was poor regarding resolution of the hot tub issue with slow responses, little effort to resolve the issue, and minimal compensation for the inconvenience. Overall, it had potential, but the experience fell short. If you book, I hope your stay is better than ours was.”

“The cottage is very cute and is in a great location but the amount of rules and cleaning that is required prior to check out is annoying…why is there a cleaning fee if we have to do a lot of it ourselves. We stayed here for our honeymoon and asked about early check in and host was pretty dismissive and told me that we would have to email him the night before our wedding to see if early check in was available. I completely understand if it wasn’t but seems like that’s something he could’ve reached out to us about to let us know. Also the hot tub broke the day we checked in and again these things happen but just kind of annoying.”

“We were looking forward to the hot tub and it is broken. Nobody was on premises when we e-checked out The bedspread smelled sour. These were issues we could live with. Other than this all felt homey. The unit is small but comfortable and welcoming!”

“If you're like me and always read the House Rules before reserving a place, you will be disappointed. AFTER paying the non-refundable payment you receive a list of chores to do upon checkout (trash, stripping the beds, etc.). The place is beautiful, spacious and tranquil. Beds were comfortable! At 5 ft 10, the master bed was a bit of a struggle to get into - it sits very high. Spouse, at 5ft 6, had to use suitcase as a step to get into bed. Just something to be aware of. Those with mobility issues will find the single front step, with no handrail, a challenge - but manageable after that. Hot tub was very nice bonus with extra towels allocated.”

“The house itself was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the space. Our only complaint was how cheap the amenities were. The soaps were less than hotel quality, the toilet paper was thin and cheap and they didn’t provide laundry pods or detergent. For the price we paid, we would expect there to be more thought put into these important details. Also the griddle didn’t work. Overall had a great time.”

“THERE IS NO HOT TUB! The pictures dont show that the deck is completely renovated WITHOUT the tub and the host updated the description AFTER i complained to note the hot tub was not in use during the winter when i reality, the dont have the hot tub at all.”
