Quaint Cottages

“Such a nice little getaway of 4 cottages on very pretty, well-kept grounds. It's near a fire station which at first I thought was weird, but was actually quiet and peaceful. It was about .75 mile walk to downtown Saugatuck which was perfect for my dog and me. It's also a short drive to a wonderful dog park, the state park, Fennville wineries, etc. The back deck with the hot tub is fully enclosed - felt private and relaxing back there. So grateful such a nice place is dog-friendly. Would definitely stay here again. (There was unfortunately roadwork when I was there mid-May 2026 which was fine for the weekend, but was disruptive during the day on Monday. Not a big deal, and should be over soon. )”

“This Airbnb was very quaint - a renovated chicken coop. Unfortunately, the hot tub didn’t work during our stay, which was very disappointing since it was one of the main reasons we booked. If you want a place with a decent hot tub this is not it - basically a plastic bucket with tepid, dirty water. Communication from the host was poor regarding resolution of the hot tub issue with slow responses, little effort to resolve the issue, and minimal compensation for the inconvenience. Overall, it had potential, but the experience fell short. If you book, I hope your stay is better than ours was.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the suite in Douglas. It was clean, spacious, quiet and convenient. It was only a few minutes drive to downtown Saugatuck and a perfect place for me and a few gals to stay for the weekend. The host was responsive, communicative and provided clear instructions. Highly recommend this place!”

“The cottage is very cute and is in a great location but the amount of rules and cleaning that is required prior to check out is annoying…why is there a cleaning fee if we have to do a lot of it ourselves. We stayed here for our honeymoon and asked about early check in and host was pretty dismissive and told me that we would have to email him the night before our wedding to see if early check in was available. I completely understand if it wasn’t but seems like that’s something he could’ve reached out to us about to let us know. Also the hot tub broke the day we checked in and again these things happen but just kind of annoying.”

“Used 2 different map apps and was having me go into the fire station parking lot that you have to go behind and follow a road where house was. I’m always super excited about staying at new places but all communication was extremely you have to do this and this. I’m fully aware there are rules and thing needed done but there was nothing but that and nothing fun about what to do. I saw some things about there not being a hot tub there is but did not feel comfortable getting into it. In the picture there are pictures of outdoor furniture with a hammock and cushions but none were there when I checked in, which was very disappointing because I picked the house specifically for the outdoor features. Everything just turned into a lot of little things. Also chose style over comfort with furniture. This house I do think would be great for bigger parties or family vacations. Not for me and would never have paid full price to stay here don’t think it’s worth it.”

“THERE IS NO HOT TUB! The pictures dont show that the deck is completely renovated WITHOUT the tub and the host updated the description AFTER i complained to note the hot tub was not in use during the winter when i reality, the dont have the hot tub at all.”
