“We had a great week (10 people, 2 dogs) at Scouting Waves. The fenced in backyard was great for the dogs, we loved the pool and hot tub, the bikes were fantastic, the beds were comfortable, and the additional refrigerator downstairs came in handy. Natalie was extremely responsive to all our questions and concerns.”

“Natalie was a great host from the second I booked our trip until we checked out. We loved the house, it met my families needs perfectly. The location was fantastic! Close to the beach, the beach club, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The included amenities with gear rental credit for beach chairs,baby gates, etc was very convenient. And what ended up being our favorite part of the stay was the included entry to the beach club which had a pool, restaurant, bar, restrooms, and private beach entrance. It was a perfect family vacation and we will definitely be back!!”

“Natalie was an amazing host. The home was exactly what my family of 5 plus our dog needed. The home was well kept, and clean. The beds were very comfortable, which is a big one for me it always hard to get good sleep away from home, but these beds made the adjustment much easier. The neighborhood was great, very walkable with kids and the dog, and super close to the grocery store. Also access to the village beach club was a huge plus! Natalie was simply awesome. She responded to our questions and inquiries nearly instantly. Providing us with everything we needed for a great vacation. My family goes to OBX often, and we will certainly be looking to stay here again on our next trip.”

“We absolutely loved our stay! The home was beautiful, spotless, updated, and decorated so nicely. It smelled amazing and immediately felt welcoming. The layout was perfect and comfortable for our group of 3 adults, 2 kids, and our chihuahua. The pool was incredible and we honestly spent most of our vacation in it! The backyard was gorgeous, securely fenced, and had plenty of grassy space for our dog to romp around and play. The house had everything we needed. The linens were clean and soft… All of the appliances worked perfectly, with plenty of dishes, pots, and pans. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The beach was a reasonable walk, the sound was very close and somewhat visible from the house, and we loved the nearby walking/bike path along the sound. It was also a great location for shops and things to do. The owner checked in and was always responsive to my messages. We had such a wonderful vacation and would absolutely stay here again!”

“Beautiful home very boho beach and cozy. Absolutely loved and appreciated the covered porch to enjoy on our rainy days. Perfect for a coffee and book or we ended up doing a puzzle out there too. Comfy beds and couches and chairs. Super responsive owner and great communication about our stay and easy check in/check out info. Definitely happy we chose to pay the pet fee bc the neighborhood was perfect for dog walks and pretty sound views down the road. We also enjoyed taking our pup over to the beach after 6:00.”
