“⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Charming Pet Cottage. The price was excellent for the location, and being just steps from the beach was hard to beat. One of our favorite things was that there aren't any large condo buildings directly next to the property, which made the area feel much quieter and more relaxing. A pleasant surprise was finding plenty of beach towels available. They weren't mentioned in the listing, so we packed our own and ended up using valuable luggage space unnecessarily. It would be helpful to add that to the listing. The biggest issue during our stay was an ant infestation on our first night. After we unpacked and put away groceries, we discovered a large number of ants in the kitchen. We sent photos to the host, who responded by providing ant spray, which we appreciated. However, we did end up losing groceries because there were that many ants, and there wasn't any offer to reimburse or replace the food. That was disappointing, especially at th”

“A wonderful stay overall! The huge porch and proximity to the beach was awesome! Plenty of space for 3 adults and a toddler. The rental did not have beach supplies - so plan to obtain via rental or purchase, if needed. Would definitely come back.”

“When we went to check in the place to get the keys was a half hour away. When we got to our place, we found out that the temperature was set at 72° and you were not able to turn it up or down. It was 91° outside so inside it was not very cool with the humidity, there were new beach amenities. We had to drive to a store and purchase some beach towels so that we could just lay on the beach and there was no toiletry left so we had to go purchase that as well.”

“They didn't tell us that the elevator was going to be down until we got their and we had 4 flights off stairs to walk up. Our friends couldn't come do to be can't climb stairs.”

“This was a well maintained building, and many units are beach front facing. Our particular unit was on the beach with a very nice balcony and outdoor furniture to make guest comfortable. The location was very accessible and the private parking was very convenient. There was access to a small storage closet in the parking area which had beach chairs and a beach wagon available for use that was very handy. The unit itself had basic necessities, but the furniture and amenities were somewhat dated. Wifi and Cable TV were available, but no Smart TV's in main area. The second bedroom advertised three beds, which it did have, however it should be noted that two of the beds were Ikea style trunnel beds with very inadequate mattresses for anyone more than a very young child. The Master Bedroom was comfortable, but also an Ikea style bed (wooden slats under the mattress). The pool and patio area were very nice, access to the beach is awesome.”

“Decking outside the unit was splintering and needed to be replaced. The soap & shampoo products were small in quality - hand soap dispenser was nearly empty when we arrived. Outer refrigerator ice and water dispenser didn’t work properly most of our weekly stay.”

“We had an enjoyable stay, and the location was awesome. The building was easy to find, but the parking area is a tight fit if you have a vehicle of a larger size. The unit was as described, but was lacking in a few areas. Could have used some beach chairs, and maybe a few beach items for kids. For the most part it was clean, but it appeared that it had been cleaned a long time before we arrived as it was dusty. Also the kitchen could have used a deeper cleaning. The top of the microwave had a greasy film from previous visits, and there was an oily stain on the ceiling above it. The Keurig coffee maker worked well, but the electric coffee pot had a very rusty heating area and should be replaced. For the price the location was perfect, but the unit itself did not warrant the price. Hopefully a little more attention to detail will be used before the next visitor checks in.”
