“Great spot, pleasantly surprised! The “loft” as we called it was wonderful. Clean, awesome location - walk to get coffee right around the bend, then turn around and walk straight to the mountain and sit in the morning sun! We have visited CB yearly for the past 10 years and staying on the mountain is the best! The living space in the unit is small, as is the kitchen so it’s definitely more for a family of 4 or two couples. Loved the large balcony! It does not FACE the mountain - you’re looking at The Lodge from the windows, but no biggy. Also- be ready / the ascent from parking lot to the actual stairs is worse than the 3 flights of stairs to the unit!!! NO ELEVATOR Needs more lighting, and updated linens (but still fresh and clean, (just a little tired) and no AC but the cool nights keep it comfortable. And fans are provided. Definitely would stay here again!”

“Had a nice stay in this place, and if served as a great home base for exploring the Crested Butte area. Overall the place is cozy and comfortable with plenty of windows to adjust lighting or regulate the temperature, and everything we needed to do a bit of light cooking during our stay. Only small note is that people with back or neck pain may have issues with the pillows (firm) and mattress (slightly sagging).”

“A log cabin in quiet area within a cul-de-sac. Getting into town was not in walking distance but was a short drive which was very convenient. The front porch was quaint and relaxing with a fabulous view of the mountains.”

“The property was great for what we needed during our stay in Crested Butte. It was super close to town and allowed for some seclusion from the busyness of it all. We appreciated the place and its views during our stay!”

“This property is for the outdoorsy person. It’s beautiful in the summer. We arrived and the room felt warm. We noticed that the window was open. Attempted to adjust AC then found a small sign above the thermostat that stated for heat only. Please open window. The window was already open and it was not comfortable temp to sleep in. My wife messaged about this to see what could be done. No response as it approached time to go to sleep the next evening. We did not want the same experience as the previous evening. I ended up finding two plug in fans and attempted to set those up. Only one worked. I called in to number provided hoping to get in touch with someone. Had to leave a message. Got a response back but the answer received was not a solution it was more like thanks for letting us know. We had not left the property at that point. My wife and I were looking for a solution to the uncomfortable temperature in the room. We were not looking for a - thanks for letting us know.”

“Condo had great deck where we spent most our time sitting, eating & Summer viewing of Crested Butte Peak! Had large open living area with comfortable beds in bedrooms. Booked this condo for the garage which was great for our 5 bikes! However, it had excessive furniture in the way that was also outdated with uncomfortable chairs & old 24 inch TV! They had cheap plastic shades for the windows. You needed to be an NBA player to reach the dishes in the upper cabinet. I found a stepladder in the closet to reach the dishes. We ran out of hot water for showers. Also, the property company failed to post that the condo buildings were getting new roofs this summer as we heard daily construction noise on the building next to us. Overall, the condo worked but not a place I would return to.”

“Overall, the property itself was great, and we appreciated the communication around check-in and the stay. However, One member of our group travels with a trained medical service animal, which was disclosed in advance. Despite this, we experienced multiple messages during the stay regarding the “no pets” policy and were asked to provide additional justification, which at times felt uncomfortable and unnecessary given federal protections for service animals. Communication was also slower than expected at times, which added to the uncertainty during our stay. As an Airbnb host myself, I always try to go above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and at ease, and unfortunately that wasn’t quite the experience here. With the ongoing HOA involvement and repeated messaging, it often felt like we were waiting for the next issue to arise rather than being able to fully relax. Unfortunate since this is a great property”

“Great location and great space, close to the mountain. The only issue during our trip was how many vehicles are allowed in the driveway. The booking mentions availability to park 4 vehicles. I did not realize that meant maximum of 4 vehicles. We had 5 vehicles parked in the long driveway (there was plenty of space) but the town of Crested Butte had alerted them that we had 5 vehicles and must move one. We later had asked the local shuttle drivers about this, and they had never heard of this rule and mentioned they drop people off at all kinds of places with multiple vehicles so it seemed odd but we ended up having to park one of our vehicles overnight on the street in the town, as instructed to by the Airbnb host. There are no 24-hour parking lots around. This was an inconvenience and just wish it was listed better in the booking.”
