“Appon arrival we found that some furniture was broken and we were worried we may be blamed for it and two days after our departure we were given a notice saying we broke there furniture and they wanted $570! Ridiculous! I feel they are scammers! Also the back door did not lock and I could’ve complained about that too but I didn’t!”

“the house was absolutely beautiful minus a minor things, wether they were broken or previously damaged.. the location was far from the beach, but the having the pool and the fenced in back yard was nice. BUT I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN, not only to this home, but i will never EVER use this “paradise breeze reality” again. at first i thought that it was nice to have them answer when we messaged and it was nice to have them answer in a timely fashion. BUT they told us they would let us know if someone would be coming to clean the pool or mow the yard. and of course the one time i wasn’t home for 20 mins (i was 5 mins away grabbing lunch) my kids called me frantically that people were in THE POOL AREA and in our yard. now if someone would have called or messaged that morning or the day before it would have been NO PROBLEM at all. but instead we were left in the dark and my kids got scared and were super upset. also, make sure you bring your OWN SHEETS AND TOWELS or they will charge you $220”

“We left the house flawless and treated the home as if it was our own. I never would have expected to have the host try to extort me for more money for “two broken lamps” but was only able to provide 2 pictures of the same exact lamp. We never once broke a lamp nor two and if we would have, we would have notified them immediately. They waited to mention the lamp”s” 2.5 days after my departure. (Little suspicious) check the other reviews on Google, this isn’t the first time Shannon has attempted to extort her guest after the reservation is complete. This gives my family and I very little confidence to trust Airbnb with our annual family vacation again. Completely unprofessional and I will be reaching out to my attorney to take further action. Take my bad experience into consideration before booking any home hosted by Paradise Breeze Vacation Homes. I understand times may be tough but extortion is never acceptable. Good luck.”

“The house was spotless and well organised, comfy beds and had everything that we needed however the location itself was very noisy with nearby construction work going on all day from the early hours of the morning. On the second day a gardener and pool cleaner turned up without us being notified of when to expect them and just came in whilst we were trying to use the pool. On the third day we were inside the house and saw a man in the back yard by the pool taking pictures on a tablet, we asked him what he was doing and he said the owner sent him to give a quote for repairs. No one told us to expect him and my daughters were there in their bathing suits. We reached out to the owner and they were not helpful at all. We had to escalate this to air BnB and a security risk. There was no lock on the pool screen door so anyone could just walk in from the street and after that my daughters felt uncomfortable using the pool. All in all very disappointed with how this was handled.”

“My family and I chose this home for our vacation bc of the amenities and location, and we were not disappointed with either of those things. The home is gorgeous with a simple lay out, clean and has so much to offer. We enjoyed the pool and the canal the most. We loved watching the couple of alligators and tons of birds from the lanai. The only thing we would have changed were the mattresses on the beds... they were very hard, and made sleeping difficult. I reached out to the host to let them know we weren't able to rest twice, once asking if they could supply mattress toppers to help... they did not offer a solution. With everything else being so great, it sucks to complain, but rest and relaxation is a big part of vacation... we didn't get much of those. Otherwise, the house is great!”

“The house itself was very nice. It is located on a busy street. The garage couldn't fit our Wagoneer, so we parked in the driveway, leaving only space for 2 extra cars, very tight. The garage had a horrible smell, but that did not leak into the house. There were no extra bed linens or blankets. There were extra pillows but no pillow cases. Only 4 bath towels, not sure if that as because, there were only 2 of us renting or not. There were no kitchen towels or wash cloths. They suggested we use the cloth napkins as towels. The half bath off of the deck was perfect. We could never get the lanai lights to work, even with instructions. Overall, our stay was OK.”

“We had a nice stay at this property overall. The house was clean, well-maintained, and came with all the amenities we needed, including full kitchen, towels, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella. There were two significant disappointments that impacted our experience. The toilet paper provided was thin, single-ply, and brittle, worse than an airline. As Airbnb owners ourselves, we would never think of providing such low-quality toilet paper to our guests, especially with the nightly cost. Second, we stayed in the upstairs unit and discovered on our last morning that the internal door leading to the stairs for the downstairs unit was neither locked nor lockable from our side. We had valuables inside and did not feel secure knowing anyone could enter while asleep or away. While the property has great potential and many positives, these issues (especially the lack of privacy and security between units) made us feel less comfortable than we expected from an Airbnb in this price range.”

“I had a nice time but they are trying to get me for unexpected fees for trivial things. I did everything asked upon check out and checking in. Went through and checked everything. A cleaning fee is included in purchasing the house. They sent a message hours after checkout saying that I damaged things and are now unusable. (Sheets and a blanket that can easily be cleaned) We bought various items and left them for other guest to use and it’s just kind of messed up that they are trying to get 190 out of me for a stained sheet.”

“**Disappointing Experience with Unresponsive Host** I recently had a very disappointing experience with this Airbnb property. Unfortunately, the code provided for entry didn’t work, and we found ourselves locked out of the house. We attempted to reach out to the host for assistance, but our messages went unanswered. In hopes of resolving the issue, we reached out to Airbnb management, but they were unable to contact them as well. After waiting outside for over an hour with no response or resolution, we had no choice but to leave and find a hotel instead. By the time we left it was already dark/night I have used Airbnb multiple times without any issues, so this experience was particularly frustrating. The lack of communication and support from the host is simply unacceptable. I would not recommend this property based on my experience.”

“It was overall pretty good. We had ants all over the kitchen and master bathroom shower. It was dirty when we moved in. We had to get the cleaning people to come back.”
