“Really neat place”

“The place itself was great, but unfortunately our unit had no AC and it was extremely hot. Management did move us to another unit the following day, which we appreciated, but there was no compensation offered for the first night. We stayed up until 2 AM waiting for the AC to be repaired, only to find out it couldn’t be fixed. What was frustrating is that the inconvenience really wasn’t taken into consideration. We had already unpacked everything, then had to repack and move units the next day. Traveling and moving a family of 5 is not easy, especially after a sleepless night in the heat. Overall, the property was nice, but the handling of the situation could have been much better.”

“We loved how the pool was just a few steps out the backdoor. Our only complaint is that our 2025 F150 truck did not fit in the garage, not a big deal though as we were able to park in the parking lot a few feet away.”

“It was a great stay! Clean place, close to everything we need for a family fun vacation. My kids enjoyed the pool and the beach is so close with free parking. I just would recommend that you guys add a blackout curtain on the bedroom window so the bedroom can stay darker longer. We definitely recommend it!”

“The location was great and within walking distance to the beach. We also enjoyed the community pool and covered grill area with tables, which we used daily. Renting a golf cart made getting to and from the beach easy and convenient. However, the stay did not meet expectations for the price point. The home was very minimally stocked compared to most Airbnb properties we’ve stayed in. There were no beach towels, beach chairs, beach gear, coffee, coffee filters, pantry staples, cooking oil, salt and pepper, storage containers, foil, plastic wrap, or toiletry items. We also ran out of toilet paper and paper towels during our stay. Cleanliness was also an issue. We found two live cockroaches in the house, and the washing machine had visible mold present. Overall, while the location and amenities outside the home were nice, we would have expected a better stocked and better maintained property for the cost.”

“This place is great if you're in a pinch for a rental. The description is accurate and it is in a great location. The photos do make it seem bigger than it is but that's just a perspective thing. This property is managed by Padre Island Rentals. We have stayed at other privately owned and managed properties at the same complex that have had lower prices and more amenities. For example the house claims to house 6 but there is only enough towels for 2. Although other units may include shampoo, body wash, coffee, detergent, or basic condiments, this one does not. There was also a pretty high pet fee (it's listed at the very bottom of their description). The privately owned and managed units also just had a more welcoming and homely feel to them. Whatever they do not have on site can be purchased at a Dollar General. If booked they will make you sign contracts outside of Air BNB to secure the rental. Any fees they would like to collect are done through the AirBNB "Resolutions Center".”

“Paid $25 for early check in 2 hours in advance and it took 30 minutes for the access code to be sent so we waited in the car outside of the property, very frustrating. Never received house instructions either. Overall, the property was very nice and well kept.”
