Pacific View Lodging
4.79Visit website
Pacific View Lodging's guest rating of 4.79 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The home has great potential we just didnt find it just didnt live up to the listing. I attempted to have a private conversation but felt like the response wasnt sufficient with all the crude we dealt with. The last thing I want as a guest is to trouble shoot multiple problems over the phone when I am trying to relax! We are a no shoe in the house family and after a short time walking through the home our feet were black! Games and views not adequately listed. listed. Granddaughter has severe allergies and there were peanuts left in and under the couch! Dirty pots and pans! Clogged sink! I contacted the owners and wish to speak with Airbnb customer service. Thank you!”airbnb

“The space was considerably smaller than the listing photos suggested. The photos are shot in a way that makes the rooms look much larger than they are, so we were surprised when we walked in. It's also worth knowing that this is a unit in a lodge rather than a private home, so it feels more like a motel stay than an Airbnb. It was clean and the location in Depoe Bay is convenient, but future guests should set their expectations accordingly.”airbnb

“Nice location. The neighbors had small kids and it sounded like a heard of elephants in this unit when they ran around. The ceiling fans were really dusty and windows were smeared making it hard to see out a few of them. We saw whales from the house which was amazing and the hot tube was also very nice although it’s so windy the privacy curtains aren’t usable they blow into the hot tube. Perhaps snaps around them and to the deck would be better. Overall nice place. Thank you.”airbnb

“50% of the stay is when you clean up yourself the other is resting. Seriously the shower is TINY and bathroom and sink in general. The shower I had to practically sit down to wash my hair. The bed was fine and cleanliness was good. Definitely ran down with patch work. Smelled pretty stale too. Opened all windows n fan blowing to circulate. The location is near the bay but this is NOT THE BEACH. $250 I would not pay for here again. It was all that was available at the time. I could have been further in town for the same experience as here. If you can find cheaper but have a bit of a drive to the beach take it. This isn’t the beach. It’s 10 minutes to the beach still. If you want the bay and a walk to it it’s okay.”airbnb

“The living area was clean but no comfortable for 4 people to sit and relax or eat at the table. The bathroom upstairs has a squeaky door every time you closed it or opened it. Water is added to the hand soap making it difficult to wash your hands thoroughly. The Place was clean and beds comfortable however it did smell like animals despite trying to cover it up with air fresheners. Fine place to stay for the reason we were there.”airbnb

“A two ocean view is inaccurate; it is roof top views with ocean beyond. We did catch a beautiful sunset from the windows on evening. We were instructed to let them know if there was anything not in proper working order and we did. We also shared noise complaints by the guests who stayed with me. I slept perfectly fine but my guests found the noise from 12-5am unsleepable. I let the renters know in case they didn’t want to rent to the neighbors again. However, I was met with attitude that implied I should have called or contacted them in the moment with our concerns. The response didn’t sit well with me and took away from an otherwise fair weekend. Thank you, Jess Lowery”airbnb

“My husband and I needed somewhere to sleep and shower before going to the airport at 1am. We didn't need much but didn't feel comfortable here. The door to the place had been kicked in at some point and the lock was not always locking so we used the dead blot and placed a large chair against the door. There is damaged flooring, no AC, water take a long time to get hot, and the coffee maker I don't think has ever been cleaned on the inside. We had to be up at 12:00 am for our drive to the airport and just needed coffee but that was not an option.”airbnb

“While we enjoyed the location and the ability to bring our dogs, the walls are unfortunately very thin. We ended up getting maybe 2 hours of sleep in regard to the people in the unit next door banging on the walls, crying, and yelling all through the night. It felt like they were in the room with us.”airbnb

“It was a sweet little home. It was covered in dog hair, the couch and rug had hair all over them. The rug had stains. There was also a sock from previous guest on the floor right in the front door upon arrival that our baby found. The neighbors dog was barking all day for 2 days. We ended up checking out early due to the noise. But the home itself was cute.”airbnb
