“No body wash, not enough towels, not even one full roll of paper towels, no extra garbage bags. Just raise the price a little and provide the basics.... people don't want to go grocery shopping on vacation”

“Nice unit with ample space to unpack and get settled in for our 8 days in Oahu. Beautiful views! I believe this is a new to AirBnB unit, it does need a little cosmetic TLC, a few minor maintenance issues, but all in all a good place to stay. We did not utilize much of the kitchen, but it appeared to be nicely stocked. The free parking is definitely a plus!”

“When “good enough” isn’t good enough. This property is advertised for up to 8, but realistically I’d only recommend it for 3–4 adults or a much smaller family. It was simply too small for our family of seven. With three beds and a fold-out couch crammed into the space, the occupancy feels pushed beyond what the property was designed to handle. Even basic things become inconvenient with a larger family, especially sharing the bathroom. The pool was also frustrating. Nearby residents complained about our kids jumping in and throwing a ball around—nothing outrageous, just kids being kids. If a property is marketed to families, normal family activity should be expected. We were here for a wedding and thought it would be “good enough.” It wasn’t. The main fridge didn’t work, the A/C was inadequate for the adjacent room, and only five towels were provided for seven guests despite the host knowing our party size. Final recommendation for large families: look elsewhere.”

“As others have stated there are many positives to this place...great views, walkable to the beach, comfy beds, parking pass, etc. However, the Golden Girls' couch comes with a rip and is not a cute retro vibe. The carpets are heavily stained and there was a wet spot near the entrance from a possible leak. Two of the kitchen chairs had back legs that were loose causing the chairs to shift downward as you sat on them. Also, when we turned on the lights in the morning roaches would scatter on the kitchen and bathroom counters/floor.s We let the owners know about all these things and they responded quickly. The response for the bug issue was that it's the tropics and they get inside when the balcony door is left open. The door wasn't left open. We didn't expect them to correct these things while we were there. I'm leaving this review so that future guests will know if these things were eventually corrected/fixed or if they ignored the issues.”

“Nick & DeAnna were helpful and fast response. The unit was a little dated but nice, neat and clean. There was a leak under the sink and I think it’s better to get it fixed before more damage. Overall we enjoyed our 6 nights stay and we would definitely stay there again.”

“Upon our arrival, we encountered a laundry list of maintenance issues and deficiencies throughout the property. Because some of these same concerns had been mentioned in previous reviews, it was disappointing to see they hadn't been resolved prior to our stay. Based on our experience, it seems like a property management company oversees the day-to-day operations and might not be maintaining the property to its full potential. That said, the host was extremely kind and amazingly responsive. They took quick action, and maintenance work was conducted throughout our stay to address the items we brought up. Location-wise, you really can’t beat it—it's super convenient and made getting around easy. As a suggestion for future improvement, replacing the living room carpet and sofas would make a massive difference. They are currently quite worn, stained, and uncomfortable, and updating them would significantly elevate the overall guest experience.”

“I don’t normally leave negative reviews. To be fair, Nick and DeAnna responded quickly when we reported issues. Unfortunately, the refrigerator failed and our food spoiled, which was especially difficult traveling with a toddler and relying on it for our child’s food. The hosts eventually provided a new refrigerator, which we appreciated, but it came too late. The sliding balcony door was extremely difficult to open/close and rattled loudly at night, disrupting our sleep. I later noticed previous guests had also mentioned the door. The couch was worn, and the pull-out sofa had stained sheets. Most disappointing was the response after we continued reporting problems: “If you are not happy just leave tomorrow. We don’t want you if you are just unhappy and complaining.” We ultimately relocated. Airbnb Support has been responsive and is investigating. I understand maintenance issues happen, but I was disappointed with how our concerns were handled.”

“The location was good, views were great from the apartment. hosts were helpful but the apartment had few cleanliness relates issues but overall good for a small family visit”

“Nick and DeAnna were wonderful hosts; always responsive and proactive. The location is excellent, your on the ocean shores w/in a 4 minute walk. The location is prime for dining/shopping and accessing Diamond Head. The drawbacks; interior aesthetics, it gave off college dorm vibes, replete w/stained carpet. However, if your goal is to embrace the sights, and spend little time in the apt, then this would be a great option.”

“We stayed in the penthouse for a family wedding, and the view is absolutely stunning, truly the highlight of this unit. However, the condo needs atention. Parts appear updated, but others are not. Several doors were problematic, including the hallway bathroom door that was difficult to open and close and even got stuck. We opted for keeping it open, causing inconvinience for guests. Sleeping was challenging,as there were no curtains in the living room, despite curtain rods being present. Beds were quite hard and not very comfortable. Basic supplies were very limited, with only small travel size toiletries (1 hotel size bar soap for 2 sinks) and minimal toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom) for a group of 6, so we had to purchase additional items. The listing photos do no accurately reflect the current state. We found constuction material in two closets. The 2nd bedrm doesnt have a nightstand so you have to place your phone, meds, on the floor. I mssged the host but he didn't reply.”
