Outpost Jackson Hole
4.76Visit website
Outpost Jackson Hole's guest rating of 4.76 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“This is a lovely condo with multiple stories, a hot tub, and a great location for nature about 20 minutes from Jackson. One disappointing event was we rented the place with a hot tub and the kids were excited for it. The hot tub was broken and, while the manager said they’d send a technician, he never arrived. A bit of a let down for the family. Otherwise, nice place.”airbnb

“Worth it. Location is great. The amenities are great. It’s very well-furnished and the views are great. The negative was small fiddly-bits: We had some issues as we got there in the middle of the night and didn’t know how to get into the garage or find the apartment we had rented. The emergency after-office-hours number we dialed was answered by a very nice lady, but she didn’t have the proper instructions either. After a lot of going around the building and trying doors and pressing buttons like a boomer we got into both places. The building was under restoration so it’ll be great once finished, but it was a construction site while we were there. The response time is iffy in the weekends and evenings as the host is a company but is quite responsive during office-hours. If the instructions on Airbnb would be updated all of this critique would disappear. Highly recommended regardless.”airbnb

“The location and property itself were great and we had a fun time here! We had great access to Teton hiking which was still amazing despite it being early in the season. We felt pretty disappointed that the hot tub was unavailable, especially as it’s advertised in the title that there is hot tub access. While there is a statement about the timeframe in which the hot tub is a available, it was buried within a lengthy description, so overall it felt misleading. There is also only one parking space permitted, which is not realistic given the higher number of people it can hold. We had two vehicles during our stay and only one parking permit.”airbnb

“Overall, I would not book this place again. They did not reach out when our condo was clean earlier than the 4pm mark, we actually had to reach out to get the code at 3:45pm after sitting in the parking lot for 2 hours with nobody there cleaning so it had been done for awhile with no message to us. Pros: modern ultra quiet washer/dryer, provided a nice fan for bedroom, provided local ground coffee, comfortable bed. Cons: no curtain to block sunlight in bedroom - just thin very old blinds. The fridge is EXTREMELY old and doesn’t fit modern sized groceries (milk has to be sideways). No blankets at all (had to steal a cover from one of the other beds). Parking lot is deeply rutted and needs re-graveled. Bedroom layout is super weird - you better be skinny to get around the other side of the bed, it’s about 8 inches from dresser. The NOISE from the upstairs residents is unreal - one of the reasons we left 3 days into a 7 day stay. It was literally constant and totally unrelenting.”airbnb

“Host was unresponsive when we couldnt check in after driving 18 hrs. They did not provide a lock code to get in. Wifi was not working the entire time we were there therefore we had non working tv thruout the entire home. They responded on the evening prior to the day we were leaving. They provided another wifi which also did not work. Do not reccomend it is the worse host we have ever dealt with. Also it is not as cloae to town square as they describe.”airbnb

“The unit is fine. I didn’t appreciate dealing with Outpost management company. I won’t make this mistake again.”airbnb

“I requested the code while en route and was refused because “the inspection team had not marked it as ready” I had to probe again AFTER check-in time had transpired because they were untimely. Lock is finicky. When I reached out for help, they advised they would be there between 6-8pm to help get the door to lock… they never showed up so we had to sleep with the door unlocked. We also had to leave for a tour the following day and had no choice but to leave belongings behind with the unlocked door because they hadn’t showed up. I received an email advising that due to high occupancy, they were unable to accommodate late check-outs when I checked in late because of their tardiness to send the code. Apartment is dated, dresser is broken and hanging by a thread. Not a single filter to brew coffee, blender is missing jar… too much to point out.”airbnb

“Nice place, good location. Had internet issues throughout the trip that were never resolved. Also had an issue where management company mistakenly told me to drive to town to pick up a package when it had been sent out for delivery. Although management company was good with communication it seems they don't actually have a good handle on their operations”airbnb
