“The place was really nice and cozy to stay at. Most of everything was labeled and their instructions were clear so we didn’t have much questions or help with anything. The kitchen even had photos to help with the placing of dishes back correctly or to see if anything was missing. There was a lot of dishes and cooking utensils available which was nice to not have to worry about having to buy some just for the trip. They communicated and responded pretty quickly. Overall would come again and recommend the place to others.”

“We stayed as a family of 5 (3 kids) and my in laws, and the house was a great size for us. We had two cars which fit perfectly in the driveway, but it was a tight backing in situation. We couldn’t get our smart lock to work when we first arrived but as soon as I called them they were able to resolve the issue and get us in within minutes. Once in we were very pleased with how clean the house was, which instantly made us feel right at home! The home had all the amenities listed and then some. The location worked out great for us and our littles, we walked 5 minutes to the Twin Lakes beach to play. Although we didn’t visit any of the restaurants by the beach, it was nice to have such close options. There’s also a playground within a 5 minute walk another direction and a convenience store. Will definitely stay here again our next visit to Santa Cruz!”

“Loved staying at this house! It really felt like the perfect stay away from home. The house being literally steps away from the beach was just perfect!! The house itself was so clean and amazing. The furnitures were very comfortable. The bed in the primary bedroom was so comfortable. The bathroom was amazingly clean as well. The kitchen was stocked really well and everything was all labeled correctly. The hosts were so nice and easy to communicate with. We couldn’t find the trash bags and we sent a message how we couldn’t find any and they were able to order some and send it straight to the front door. The hottub was such a highlight. Overall this was a 5/5 experience and stay. Will definitely keep this as a place we’ll always go back to ✨”

“This is a truly special place to stay. The home itself is architecturally stunning - beautiful lines, expansive windows to take in the incredible ocean view, and a thoughtful layout that gave our multigenerational group plenty of room to spread out together. The Moss Beach location is also unbeatable - walking distance to Fitzgerald Marine Reserve and Seal Cove Beach with the kind of dramatic coastline views the area is famous for. The neighborhood was quiet, scenic, and just far enough from the bustle to feel like a real escape. The OVR team was responsive and easy to work with throughout. We would happily return!”

“Great house, newly remodeled directly on the beach. Nice location, we could hear the waves crashing all night long, which may be a little distracting if you're not used to it. Everything was clean and in good condition. Easy walking to several beaches and downtown Capitola. My one suggestion for the house is to plant some screening on the sides. The house to the right had a parking lot on the beach side and was a little bit of an eye sore. Overall I highly recommend the house and OVR.”

“True professionalism, this team sets the bar high for all hosts. The pictures were perfectly accurate with impeccable communication. So much so, that they have a link with step by step photos of where to arrive, how to park, and a clear description directing you the top floor unit. Text messages provided us with the codes and WiFi, it could not have been easier. The unit is the right price for the location and style of Airbnb lodging and sure beats staying at a small noisy hotel room. The building was so quiet, private, and safe, yet centrally located to get to the beach, to downtown, and a simple drive to our new favorite restaurants in midtown. Dont miss the classic Italian food at Sugo and Lilian’s. For those that want the best dumplings, head to the westside to Chloe’s Kitchen and walk down the block to Maryann’s IceCream with close to 100 homemade flavors. “This was my second stay in this exceptional Oceanfront home. My first stay was so lovely that this time I brought back my family to enjoy the beautiful views, walkable neighborhood and comfortable accommodations offered in this home. During this second stay there was an issue with the temperature in the hot tub as a result of a slow leak, an ongoing issue. We wished the host would have notified us about the issue in advance or handled it before our arrival, but they did send a maintenance person out on the second day of our stay and offered a discount on our stay as a result of the inconvenience. We appreciated this gesture and their good communication and follow-up.”

“Second time staying at this lovely, perfectly located property in charming, bucolic Santa Cruz. I was visiting my daughter and her community of friends and this was the perfect sanctuary for me to feel like a local — with time and space to relax and recharge, walk to and from Lighthouse Point, the Lane, Steamers, and the Pier … or have my daughter and her boyfriend over for a meal, comfy conversation and game nights, and even a hot tub dip. Highly recommend this property for singles, couples, or families. It’s well appointed, perfectly located, a feast for the eyes, and the hosts are welcoming and responsive. I hated to leave and look forward to another future visit!”
