“Lovely stay - cozy space with small but nice kitchen and great jumping off point for lots of exploration.”airbnb

“Room was cozy, bed was comfortable, not too far from local attractions. Shower space could be larger but was adequate.”airbnb

“Nice stay, GREAT location. The townhouse is walkable to Cannon Beach and a number of restaurants. If you want to do any cooking the kitchen is a bit tight and the townhouse has the noisiest plumbing ever, but again the location was FANTASTIC and they allow pets, which is hard to find.”airbnb

“Cozy little stay for those exploring Acadia National Park area. Close to a great farmhouse cafe, a market, and yummy lobster pounds. Was a bit loud with the airplanes flying over but not many in the evenings to disrupt sleep.”airbnb

“It was very welcoming. Layout, rooms, and furnishing including supplies could not be beat. Each and every room felt like a vacation log cabin I would have. We were 2 couples out for our first brief 3 day vacation together. And we want to do it again next year using this same bnb. Words are not sufficient.”airbnb

“Good place to stay close to Mount Desert Island! Only enough room for sleeping and not much else. Close to a busy road! Overall a good place to rest up for a days adventure out of the cabin.”airbnb

“We rent properties frequently around the country for our travels. Our experience with this property was frustrating: pictures and description did not convey age and condition of the property. Major roadway 8 feet from bedroom window. Windows were fogged inside so no view. Cabinet hinges broken. Strange thermostat (only one in bedroom). Yet price was $375/night. Super disappointed.”airbnb

“Close driving distance to Acadia and not far from Bar Harbor ( 20 min drive). If you’re just staying one night ( we got there late, slept and left early) then it’s okay but not sure about staying here for multiple nights. space itself is run down and needs renovation- found a few spiders in bathroom and shower. Could use a better cooling system because although ceiling fan works you can’t have it on very high cause it makes lots of noise feels like it’s going to fall off. I know it’s expensive to stay near bar harbor/ Acadia but for what we paid thought the space would be a little more updated.”airbnb

“We were so saddened to learn of the devastating fire that leveled the main house in March 2026 before our arrival in September 2026 and our hearts go out to the owners and staff for having to make such a great pivot and for their livelihoods being affected. Overall we enjoyed our stay in cottage 11. The cottage itself was as described, very rustic, small bathroom, close to Acadia, but we were disappointed that there was no communication of the fire affecting the main house and the subsequent loss of amenities that sold us on this location in the first place. Overall, the cottages are a nice, rustic option for the area, and at the time of this writing there was a communal outdoor area including grills, a fire pit and a hot tub.”airbnb
