“The area was peaceful and remote. Lots of comfy places to sit and enjoy nature. Spacious and comfortable inside and out.”

“I knew we booked a vintage cabin, I don't have anything against the old interior but it must be very well ventilated as it smells like old house and furniture, and some of the windows could not be opened. Also there is a small playground next to the cabin, which seems not to be maintained at all - it's full of old leaves and spider webs, so it should be maintained or taken down at all. The cabin is located right next to a big private house and another cabin. The inside was clean. All together it was not a bad stay but the main thing that has to be done for the host is to air out the smell of an old house.”

“Tucked Away was the perfect find. We wanted a nice relaxing location for the long weekend, that was peaceful yet close enough to just pop into town. Cabin was lovely, well cared for and great for our summer end family getaway. Also - easily enough space for our elderly pup’s crate which isn’t always the case. Perfect weekend for the whole crew.”

“Lawn was shabby looking, kids couldnt play in front yard. Deck furniture was old and rusty, had portable Ac in every room, inadequate for the living room, always hot. Had to leave AC running in every room so we could sleep at night. AC units really loud at night. Pool / ping pong table really old (mini table). Fooseball table unusable and the dart board was absolutely trashed. Basement had an overwealming musty smell. Bathroom shower upstairs was really small, kept hitting my elbows on the glass when trying to shower. Pillows stained yellow (sweat), disgusting. Paint peeling from bathroom walls, and the bathroom sink took 10 minutes to drain. Could be a nice place, but it seemed to me that whoever is taking care if it dropped the ball. Also no checkout instructions for trash / towels or garbage. I had the feeling that this place hadn't been rented out in a while. I've been running places up here for years and this was the worst experience I've ever had.”

“My family stayed for 4 nights and had quite a few problems for the more than half of our stay. There was a problem with the electricity going out, causing the wifi to drop, and appliances like the fridge, blender and toaster losing power. This made day to day living very inconvenient. We had to make time on two separate occasions for service people to come to the house to fix these issues. This meant we had to change our plans of enjoying the lake to instead stay home to discuss the ongoing issues with the electricians and internet provider who came. This was really disappointing. Twice people in my family had to miss important zoom calls for work and school because the internet was down. Another disappointment was the lack of toilet paper, dishwashing soap and hand soap available in the house. Only enough soap for a few uses. There was no sponge to clean our dishes with which we only discovered after a dinner for 10 was prepared. Overall, a disappointment for what we paid.”

“*This is a rental property listed on Airbnb that uses its local company (Offlake rentals) to manage everything rather than Airbnb site. Will use their site for most. You can book for much cheaper through their website (if they manage to get back to you).* Sadly too many annoyances made this rental undesirable. Cons: -Physical key fob pickup is 20min away at the rental company’s office. Every car in your group will need it to get into the house’s gated community. Must return once trip concludes. -Did not receive “welcome package” of a “reasonable amount” of trash bags/dish pods/paper towels. Had to waste our own time to go get these items. -Unclear instructions if firewood was usable. “Reasonable amount” wasn’t provided, so we bought a bunch before reaching out. -House needs some handy work. Dishwasher doesn’t run without being wedged closed. Sink easily clogs. Pots&pans are severely warped. Downstairs 70” TV is broken. Pros: -Allowed early check in -Cozy house -Hot tub worked great”

“The Pros: The house location was great for skiing at Wisp. Great view of the ski area. Has a great yard for sledding. The house was better than the pictures. Two large spaces for family entertainment - one up - on down. The house was clean other than the things in the bottom kitchen cabinets. Bedrooms all had attached baths. Offered an early check-in. The Cons: You are dealing with a Property Management Co. not the owner. There was no information list with items in the house for use. We needed to buy soap, dish detergent, etc. No instructions once we got there for TV's, Fireplaces, heat, check-out instructions, trash, etc. Had to make phone calls. The heat is not regulated up and down. The temperature on the lover level was at least 10 degrees colder especially in the lower level bedroom. There was a space heater which we found but it was one that got hot and we had small children. The kitchen has an over supply of pots, pans, etc, some put away dirty.”
