“We had a good stay in Cabin 6. This place was smaller than we expected, but good for 2 people. The overall vibe is somewhat motel / corporate, but we had everything we needed. We felt that the up front communication was good, but received a slow reply when we needed a little support. Still, a nice, clean place very close to the beach. Pros: Close to beach Reserved parking Comfortable bed Plenty of hot water Clear communication from host Cons: Minimal kitchen A few dishes were dirty Wifi / TV did not work either night we stayed”

“This cottage was perfect for what my family wanted - clean, comfortable and an easy walk to the beach. One thing I didn’t realize is that you do share a wall with another unit. We had no issues whatsoever, but having kids I was a tad worried that may be an issue with them being noisy. Make sure to bring your own beach chairs though as they do provide them but they’re not the ones that are easily transported. The cottage had everything you could possibly need. It was clean (no sand in sight) which is huge with the proximity to the beach!) the space isn’t huge but was comfortable for my family of 4 and our dog. While Old Orchard is very dog friendly there were a few neighbors who didn’t want the dog on their grass. We have large vehicles so didn’t fit tandem in the driveway but had no problems parking out front. The pier area is an easy walk so you don’t have to pay for parking either. I’d absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a clean place to stay with kids/dog close to the beach.”

“Awesome location!! Right by the beach, 20 minute walk to the pier. Lots of great food in the area! Cabin could have been a little cleaner, sand was on the couch when I arrived, dark stains on the pillows, otherwise that it was clean!”

“Cute cabin so close to the beach! The bed was comfortable and plenty of blankets and pillows. I was able to get some much needed rest here. Just a short walk away and you’re enjoying the ocean.”

“Jason’s house is ideally located at the of of the street right by the beach. You can’t get any closer without having beachfront property. The neighborhood itself has lots of restaurants and bars. The beach is sandy and clean. The only reason I am deducting a star is a temporary one; right now the house behind Jason’s rental is undergoing a down to the studs renovation. The crew shows up around 6:45 and the power tools get turned on at 7am. The good news is you won’t need your alarm clock! The bad news is you won’t be sleeping in. This isn’t Jason’s fault, but it will be an issue until the renovation completes.”

“We had a great time here. Beautiful home right next to the beach and away from all the crowds and noise. Jason was quick to respond to any questions I had before and during the stay. I wanted to give it 5 stars because we did have a great time here and the house was perfect! However, it was really disappointing when we pulled out one of the sofa beds and saw it had dog hair and crumbs/residue all over it. We were so tired from a long day, so having to go find a way to clean off most of that and then go look for sheets to put over those, was a pretty frustrating.”
