OCMD Getaways's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Excellent location-truly steps to the beach. Also not a super crowded beach since there were not many hotels nearby. We enjoyed the upper and lower deck spaces (though having a couple of seats on the upstairs deck would have been nice). The listing makes it clear you need to bring your own linens/towels which was not a problem. But there was no hand soap or dish sponge, no extra trash bags, no cleaning supplies (for daily maintenance, wiping counters, etc) and zero staples (salt, pepper, oil, etc) in the kitchen like there normally are in airbnbs. Just be prepared to bring (or buy) literally everything. Otherwise the place was great for our group and having 2 dedicated parking spots was a bonus!”airbnb

“10/10 location 10/10 easy to walk to food, activities and the beach. 10/10 bayside sunset view Unit is mid- very simple, not overly comfortable but lots of room and has a washer and dryer. Linens and basics like hand soap or a sponge are not included. Linens and towels can be provided but must be coordinated and paid for separately in advance. Not a quiet location, lots of vehicle noise (parking area and street all night, particularly on weekends) of note - one of the bedroom window’s is directly across from the elevator so people are walking around all night to use that.”airbnb

“Pros: Good communication.Great location near boardwalk/beach & bay. Walkable to great restaurants/bars. Lively area. Can sleep nine. One guaranteed parking spot. Nice front porch to hang out on. Some cute decor. Flexible check-in time. Had toaster/toaster oven, silver, glasses, plates & pots (no pans). Newer floors Cons: Place is tight for nine. The ceilings are very low. Someone tall may feel uncomfortable. Upon arrival the bathroom mats were wet, it smelled musty & the sofa was stained (we kept a sheet over the sofa). I ordered the sheet/towel package, but it did not arrive until 5:30PM, so we didn't have shower towels after returning from the beach. The place really needs an overhaul--paint, caulk, walls/ceilings redone, new trim, etc. All the doors were hard to close & open. The front porch was a safety hazard with the ceiling caving in. Overall the place is really worn/old. Also, noisy trash truck pick-up every morning between 6 & 7AM. We would not recommend.”airbnb

“The condo was clean, well-located, and met our basic needs for our stay. The listing accurately disclosed that guests need to bring their own linens, towels, and paper products, so be prepared if you're traveling from out of town. We found the overall experience more transactional than welcoming, with communications focusing primarily on rules and requirements. At this price point, we expected a more hospitable experience and a few additional conveniences. Overall, we had a pleasant week in Ocean City, but there is room to improve the guest experience.”airbnb

“Excellent location! Well thought out condo. I don’t recommend renting linens. The service was unreliable and we were missing certain sheets for certain beds.”airbnb

“Dirty and filthy place. Worn and stained carpet. Dusty, dirty floors. Dirty stair treads and stains on the walls. The bathrooms had stains that were suspect. The blinds in both bedrooms were missing slats and could not be closed. Maintenance came out to "fix" but the fix was to tape up some replacement slats that didn't match and still didn't close fully. All the closets & cabinets were messy and full of missing blind slats, left over items from earlier guests and complete disorder. There was no toilet paper or paper towels. The primary bedroom bed was a king size and since we had to bring our own bedding, we brought Queen size sheets (after confirming this size). So we had no bedding. Again, maintenance came and brought us sheets, but they seemed dirty and mismatched. Overall, not at all what we expected and with nothing comparable available, we were stuck there. The owner should be ashamed of the condition of this home. It needs full cleaning and updating. Awful! Pictures available”airbnb

“Be prepared to pack your entire house. We had to buy paper plates and bowls because they have very little. There isn’t even a frying pan there let alone a pen or paper. I had to keep leaving to buy things that should have been there. The main bedroom and get ready area is amazing however the second bedroom has little room to breathe. We had suitcases covering the entire floor because there was no where to put them or to take our stuff out.”airbnb

“Very nice apartment, great location! Minutes away from the beach. Only down side is that they don’t provide towels or sheets.”airbnb
