“The pool was great, but the location to the beach and food/entertainment is not very accommodating for families with smaller kids. You have to drive to the beach access points and depending on the time of year it’s difficult to find a spot to park your vehicle! The only walking distance place for food and entertainment was the big chill that’s across the street but was not very impressed with food or service there. You have to drive everywhere for this location and I wish that was detailed more in the description! Also the house did not come with anything that a usual Airbnb has such as items for kitchen and food prep, just very basic.”

“We loved our stay with Ocean Reef. A few things to note— there were hair dryers available as well as a coffee maker if guest would like to make a full pot of coffee for everyone. The floors were slightly sandy from the previous guests but everything else was very clean. We really enjoyed the community and the walkable distance to the restaurants and entertainment!”

“The furnishings are dated, the floors were not as clean as they could have been. Glass on the kitchen table had finger prints all over the top (scratched too) and there were crumbs of food stuck between the glass and the table (visible). No salt or pepper as a stock item, one bar of small soap in bathroom for a three night stay for two; towels were thin; and way too lean on the furnishings for the cost & to be in such a great destination. We booked it because of the cost, but I would have expected it to be clean - it was dingy, warn and dated. Hooks for towels were plastic - shower curtain was three feet too long and the shower faucet/shower head did not function properly. The unit needs some TLC and possibly an update to the shower fixtures so they work properly, along w/ a new shower curtain vs a liner which did not fit properly. Maybe a new cleaning crew!”

“We enjoyed our stay, and loved the location and the HUB across the street. However, the sofa and pillows on the living room had stains and looked dirty, same for the carpets in the bedrooms which are in desperate need to be replaced or shampooed. The walls going up the stairs also had dirty stain spots. The guest bathroom’s shower curtain also had dirty stains. The house definitely needs a better cleaning service.”

“Loved the home, was a great space for our family and friends of 7. Enjoyed coffee each morning on the decks with the beautiful surroundings of the trees. Easy walk to the beach. Only issue was upon check in we could not locate the lockbox because it had been moved to the back of the house and had a hard time getting it open.”

“The location of this home was perfect, and the home was BEAUTIFUL! However, the host gave very poor instructions on how to locate the HOA where we needed to check in and was slow to respond. There also were not very many amenities at the home (i.e. no blankets for pull outs, hair dryer, beach accessories, beach towels, extra toilet paper). Finally, the host agreed to bringing us blankets on the first night but never brought them during our 3 day stay. I would still recommend this home, but come prepared!”

“The good- the neighborhood is beautiful, clean, quiet, easy walk to beach access, sufficient parking, great bed situation for extended family The not so good-overall for the price we paid, we expected much better maintenance and cleanliness. The walls are dirty and scuffed throughout the house, the bench at the end of the bed in the second floor guest room is disgusting, chewed bubble gum stuck on shelf next to bed in “kid’s room”, mold in 3rd floor bathroom fan, trash under couch in living room, no cleaning spray in sight for us to keep the home clean. The third floor was hot having to keep the temp set to 72 and uncomfortable- would be miserable later in the year. If flying, this would be an absolute no-go as you would have to purchase practically everything. Two beach chairs provided are not usable for families as they are stationary and too close to others and too far from water. Overall, everything felt very dingy and very bare minimum in an otherwise lovely neighborhood.”
