“This home was very nice. The view (except for the darn fog) was spectacular. It was comfortable and clean. We were convenient to everything yet off to ourselves. I love the outside gardens and I bet in spring and summer they stand out. This is a great pick in Yachats.”

“Peter's house is warm, inviting and cozy. We had a sweet time with our adult kids cooking, playing games and walking the path down to the ocean. The house is more beautiful than even the pictures describe. I would say it's one of the best houses we've stayed at. The bed's were cozy and comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. Everything was clean and all the linens were of good quality. We enjoyed our time there immensely and look forward to our next visit.”

The kitchen was very well equipped with dishes, cookware, etc. The furnishings were lovely, the location worked well for walking to town and the coastline, and the neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. “this was a great place. other reviews mention the downstairs smelling musky and i agree. the downstairs part isn’t pictured in the listing, so everything you see is the main part of the house and is completely fine and so so so peaceful. the neighborhood is quiet with a calm river view from the back deck. it is walking distance to town. plenty of cookware items if you’re looking to cook. the bathtub is sooooo nice! there is hot water, but we found that it runs out quickly so just fill the tub with only hot water turned on and it’ll be perfect temp once filled :) would definitely stay here again”
