“This is the perfect lake house. Private, quiet and only about 5 minutes to the closest grocery store. The house has a charming lake house vibe. Nicely appointed and very clean. The lake front location, awesome dock, great parking and access make this the best Hayden Lake rental in our opinion. We would love to stay there again.”

“The ground level space was perfect for our little family with a fenced in yard located right downtown, walking distance to everything. Parking in the back with gate access made it easy to come and go. The king beds and televisions in each room made it feel premium. Blackout shades were much appreciated. The neighborhood was gorgeous and admire drinking coffee in the morning. Would absolutely stay here again!”

“Great place. Clean and included everything we needed. The sound of traffic on the bridge was at times noticeable, but not something that would prevent us staying there again. Like most all VRBO's we stay in, I wish they would all include a knife sharpener.”

“Our extended family, 9 adults and 3 young kids, stayed five nights, and overall the home worked well for our group. Excellent location for Tubbs Hill, McEuen Park, Sanders Beach, downtown restaurants and coffee shops, golf, and biking the Hiawatha Trail. We appreciated we could walk to so many places. The main living area is tight for a group our size, but we spent much of our time out exploring, so worked fine. The bedroom/bathroom layout met our varied sleeping and getting-ready needs well. Backyard and patio were quiet and clean. A few areas could be improved. One bath towel per adult for five nights was not enough, especially with outdoor activities. We ended up doing laundry to have clean towels. More bath and hand towels, would make a significant difference. Bed pillows were flat and lacked support. Responses to requests for additional supplies were slow, although we did receive additional hand towels and laundry soap. Overall, a good stay in a great location!”

“We had a great stay here. The location was easy for getting around town-walked everywhere. The only issue was the very thin windows/floor so it was very noisy when cars and people walked by. Also, we heard the folks above us talking, walking and their music was loud. But, we enjoyed ourselves vey much. It was easy to cook and comfortable beds and furniture.”

“Beautiful home in a lovely area. Home was largely as-advertised. Two small things that were tough: 1) design choices were made more for photos than for ease of use. For one example, the upstairs and powder room sinks were difficult to use without scratching your fingers on the rock sink due to their small size. Upstairs bathroom had very very minimal space for toiletries or getting ready, and water got all over them from the sink each use. The counters are also rustic wood, which I’m not sure how sanitary that is getting so wet each time as well. 2) We received many emails trying to upsell us into private chef and grocery services. It felt like we were being milked for money before even arriving. One note offering the service would have been fine, but a quick glance back shows at least 5 contacts about services and not about our reservation. These two things aren’t dealbreakers, and this is a BEAUTIFUL home with reliable hosts, but are just what stopped us short of 5 stars.”

“First of all, we had a great time. The main reason for selecting this home was the dock for our boat. The terrace/deck area was awesome, although we had to sweep it because the previous guests had spilled popcorn and it wasn’t t cleaned prior to our arrival. The bathrooms were beautiful with lots of towels. The kitchen was nice, loved the empty cabinets for our food storage. We had a dishwasher issue because there were no instructions and it wasn’t a standard machine. Also , if you want to drink from wine or cocktail type glasses I would bring your own. Same with the pillows in the main bedroom. Too flat. there was no welcome book meaning instructions info etc…? It would have been helpful to know the grill was only a griddle bbq which wasn’t very clean and needed the grease trap emptied. Finally, we understood that the check in was 4pm we arrived at 3:45. Why when the house was cleaned and crew left would the code not activate. It was very hot and we had perishables.”
