“It was a beautiful setting for our family thanksgiving/Christmas. So many good memories were made. The littles enjoyed sledding down the small hill in the backyard. Kitchen was well stocked! Not much is open in the winter months but we enjoyed the Driftwood for a lunch out and a few shops.”

“Great location — just a short drive to the Huron boardwalk, lighthouse, restaurants, and more. The house was very comfortable and the host was highly responsive. It would have been even better if there were a fence in the front yard; since we were traveling with a pet, that would have been a big advantage, especially with the woods nearby. Thank you!”

“Our stay at Bayview 1 was wonderful! Beautiful property and hosts were very kind and friendly. The property was convenient to the ferries and the view was outstanding! Peaceful quiet location and our family enjoyed the attention to detail in the decorating. Loved the Halloween decorations :) Great memories made visiting Mackinac Island and St. Ignace:) Thank you!”

“Excellent condo. Everything clean, modern and plenty of room. Had all amenities to make stay very comfortable. Easy walking distance to ferry to Mackinac island, and short drive to the bridge. The only downside was it could be very noisy with traffic during the day. The noise tapered considerably after about 10:00 pm.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Northern Michigan Vacation Rental. We loved the views from the large windows the rental had. We could see the lake and lighthouse beautifully. One night there were fireworks and we could see it perfectly. The kitchen was very nice. Note: there is only one bathroom in the rental which was attached to one of the bedrooms but it was nice and big. We enjoyed that the parking was free at the rental and a few shops/restaurants/bar to walk to from the rental. We loved walking down the street to “The Boardwalk Hotel & Bar” to hear a cool band that was playing. They even gave us a tour of their beautifully updated rooms. We loved “Clyde’s Drive-In” for good burgers in town. Yum! 😋 When we decided to go to Mackinac Island, the rental was super close and right down the road to Arnold’s Transit on N. State Street. It was $36 for a round trip ticket. The parking was $10 across the street or $40 in their parking lot. I hope this helps. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“We stayed for a long weekend with our dog and the home was just as pictured and described! Great location for walking the dog, watching the weekend fireworks, and getting around town. The deck is large and great for relaxing and enjoying the lake breeze, and the inside spaces are perfect for family time and remote working. Note: WiFi password in welcome book and text had a typo.. a few signs around the home had the correct version :) Would definitely stay here again!”
