“Beautiful location. The cabin is secluded and at the top of a hill with a view of the lake. Perfect place for a stay in nature and easily accessible to local moose tours. They were able to check me in early for a fee. It was greatly appreciated.”

“Very responsive hosts, the water is a bit of a walk away from the cabin, so do keep that in mind and the hill is steep! Our favorite was the deck at night looking at the stars!”

“My family loved staying here for our Moosehead vacation. Home was beautiful and clean. Kitchen fully stocked. The kids loved having their own rooms. It was the perfect base for our adventures in the area and the hosts gave a ton of great information on the area. The neighborhood beach was a short walk away. Would definitely come back for a repeat stay!”

“We had a wonderful weekend stay in Rockwood! The place was beautiful, quiet, clean, and comfortable—exactly what we were hoping for. We really enjoyed the peaceful location and being so close to Mt. Kineo and everything the Moosehead Lake area has to offer. The boat landing is also nearby and just a short drive away. The neighbors were incredibly friendly as well. We actually lost a wallet off the top of our car, and they went out of their way to find us and return it, which we really appreciated! We also rented a pontoon from the Lawrences and spent a day out on the lake. The boat was very nice, and we would definitely recommend renting one if you’re staying here—it was one of the highlights of our weekend. We had a great experience all around and would absolutely stay here again!”

“I don’t know which was better the communication from North Woods Maine Cabins or this amazing house! It was exactly what we were looking for. The dock was perfect for fishing. We loved sitting by the fire pit right next to the water every evening as the sunset. The balcony from the upstairs bedroom was the perfect morning spot to have your coffee. This house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. This house is close to town but also quiet and private. Full kitchen, outdoor grill, fully stocked with towels, toilet paper, and kitchen essentials.”

“We had an incredible stay in Beaver Cove. Every time we reached out we received responses promptly to our questions. We took full advantage of the lake and side x side trails nearby. Check-in and out were seamless and the place was just as expected based off the pictures. Spotless at arrival too. Instructions were clear and straightforward on how to leave the cabin too.”
