“I was most disappointed that I could not fish off dock or shore because of weeds (water lilies) surrounding area. The fact that there was no WiFi and what tv was substandard in today’s world of cable and streaming. The cabin itself is very nice. It was odd that fireplace was sealed off but I suppose that was a safety issue.”

“What a joy it was to stay in this private, remote place! We had many walks along the trails, many great conversations around the table, and comfy sleeping spaces. However, the kitchen was dirty upon arrival. Also the air conditioning had a hard time reaching all the ticked in spaces. Despite this I highly recommend the space.”

“The location was great, lovely house, and is exactly as depicted. Enjoyed the house on the quiet lake. Our party of 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 large dogs really enjoyed the location. We really liked that the lake was very quiet and didn’t have motorized boats and that the location had 2 kayaks for us to use as part of our stay and we were able to do a little catch and release fishing. Loved that there was an 50amp EV charger available. Convenient to charge our Rivian for more outdoor adventures. Lots of blue gill hang out at the dock along with some turtles. Saw and heard some loons. Would have been 5 stars if communication was better. One thing to note is, the property is managed by a company who is NOT easy to get a hold of in any sort of problem I’m talking about 8+hours before you get any sort of response through the Airbnb app, or even text/call. Had a few issues during our stay and there is no one to really get in touch with ever and really not that helpful.”

“The house was beautiful and a great spot for our family time. We had challenges regulating room temperatures (one bedroom was very hot, while another was quite cold) and we had one broken shower door where we did not get a response from the company for 2 days. But everything else was great and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.”

“We had to wait an hour and a half after check in for the cleaning people to get done. Photos and description made it sound like you could see the lake from the backyard. You can't. Our boat didn't fit on the dock making getting on the lake very inconvenient. The house itself was very nice but not what we expected. We would not go back.”

“The place was great and just as advertised. Beautiful secluded spot in the Northwoods. The private fence is a plus and little touches for pets were great! Large dog bed, pet treats, and even a small stair set leading up to the bed for pets! The bed was very comfortable as was the couch. The backyard was lovely to hang out in at night. The issues we had started right away. We arrived and the door lock was not working. I called the listed number and a person took about 45 minutes to come let us in. The batteries on the lock were dead. You could tell no one had been there in months, there were spiderwebs all around the doors. The inside also had some dead bugs, & lots of ants in the bathroom. We came back one day to the door unlocked and someone had been inside. Said they forgot the check out day and just threw trash away. Finally, they don’t change the door code which is just plain unsafe. That being said, the place is nice. Would have been 5 stars if they inspected it ahead of time.”
