Nomade MTL
4.75
Nomade MTL's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The 2 bed 2 bath was very nice but it was a rough place. Slept okay … the bed was flimsy and cheep. For the price it would have been nice to have a few more amenities… games, hairdryer. The parking was under lock and key and every step was complicated to get where you needed to go. Not a fun experience”airbnb

“Great place, very cozy and walkable to activities like aquarium and coke world. Amenities were nice as well such as gym and the pool. The scenes were beautiful and worth every penny. Would go again.”airbnb

“The unit itself was great, the location was super convenient. But everything else was less than that ideal. There were many steps upon arrival to find and open the key fob box. There are many doors where the key fob is needed to proceed- elevator, hallway, unit. The hallway to the unit REAKED of marijuana. The real deal breaker was the vague parking instructions. We were supposed to scan a posted QR code and pay $8 per night, which I did. No other signs were posted stating anything about where Air B&B people were supposed to park. So we thought we could park anywhere that wasn’t marked for employees only. The last morning we came out to find our vehicle had a boot and we had to pay $75 to have it removed. The guy said it was because of where we parked. But again, zero signage to make this clear. As a result, I DO NOT recommend staying here. The very nice unit is not worth all the other negatives.”airbnb

“Overall this was a nice play to stay for a week while attending a conference. The place was clean and beds were comfy. The internet was fast generally despite a service interruption which they communicated to us. A couple of things soured the experience. First, getting in was the classic wandering around like a lost puppy looking for the key box. If you're wondering, walk in the garage and turn left just past the glass doors. There's a little hallway with a keycafe machine. It's weird that it's there because there are signs everywhere saying AirBNB is not allowed. We were given only one key, which I asked about and was told that is all I'm allowed. This was not convenient at all because to even get in the building or elevator you need a key. The furnitures are the classic cheap AirBNB grade and the sheets and pillows are the same. No keurig. That's not unexpected for an AirBNB but it always makes me sad. No convenience stores around to grab some basics. All told it was ok.”airbnb

“Decent place. Not very clean - stains and poorly cleaned surfaces throughout. Not exactly a luxury stay, feels neglected. The check in process is fairly straightforward, just lengthy. The key fobs weren’t defined in the instructions, so we had trouble getting into the garage to park. Usually places like to provide little amenities like area guides / water / etc. You won’t find anything like that here. It was a place to sleep and that’s about it.”airbnb

“I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews. The location does a lot of the heavy lifting w the stars. Upon check in, we unpacked & acquainted ourselves w the space & I found multiple dirty dishes in the cabinets w oil & beans in them & other dishes not properly washed. They offered to have someone come clean the dishes? Which we had already done so there wasn’t much they could do. The following day we had a roach. The sink was not properly set into the sink & would wiggle around & didn’t drain properly. The overall complex was filthy, other residents left their trash about & there was constantly trash in the garage. The whole complex & unit had this weird odor that they tried to mask w fragrance. On Fridays & Saturdays since we were on the 2nd floor you could hear all the foot traffic & people going to the clubs, it was annoying. There was allegedly a shooting/altercation at a bar walking distance from the Airbnb (my sister who works @ one of the bars let us know).”airbnb

“Place is smaller than expected and not very clean. The unit smelled like marijuana everytime you walked in the front door. The building was filthy. Trash was piled by the trash room on the 7th floor and the trash cans were overflowing in the lobby to include many water bottles that had been filled with urine. Building was never locked and clearly not in a great section of town. Overall I would not recommend.”airbnb

“Enjoy the Airbnb platform and this place was good but felt taken advantage of on the price. Paid for an extra day, got taxed and fee like it was a new and separated booking, on top of paying an extra $20. Felt misused for being a loyal customer.”airbnb

“Beware located in neighborhood that had homeless encampment across street, saw people looking through windows of cars in the parking garage, SWAT showed up to deal with a barricaded man down the street, and the building had a very funky smells in the halls. Signs mentioned no AirBnB subletting allowed. Take that for what it’s worth. Though the size of the place was more than adequate for our family, there were very few amenities inside or character to the space. They prize profit over guest experience. The floors were also absolutely filthy. Bed was comfortable BUT no black out curtains on windows so city lights were bright at night. Overall we were disappointed with our stay, especially for the price.”airbnb
