“Location was amazing it was a good fit for our family with little kids and right on the beach! We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. If you want to checkin early or leave later that is an additional charge and they charge additional security deposit that I didn’t expect.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Big Blue-The Quarterdeck! Very easy to find and located at the foot of the beach walkover, this cozy condo was perfect for our family. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable-like sleeping on fluffy clouds! In town for a wedding, the condo was a 5 minute drive from all venues & walkable to lots of restaurants and shopping. The beach is my happy place, and it did not disappoint! Can’t say enough good things about this place, and we will definitely stay again next time we are in Jax Beach! Thanks, Nomad, for your hospitality!”

“There were two aspects to the stay: the house itself was wonderful, but when problems occurred communication and timely help from the hosts was not at an acceptable level. The house was delightful: pleasant bedrooms, clean bathrooms, location on beach, spacious family room, large dining table for gathering with our group of 12. Good communication initially. But, then the freezer quit working during the second day, the refrigerator by the second evening, and two stovetop units were not functional. As each occurred/were discovered, we communicated with the hosts. Workarounds were addressed: a stand-alone ice maker in the garage, and on our own initiative mini-refrigerators brought down from upstairs. Most of the communication to inquire when/if the refrigerator situation would be resolved was initiated by us, rather than the hosts actively providing updates. Thus, if you want to take your chances with Nomad Hospitality, the house itself is great.”
