Unfortunately we found roaches more and more as our trip went on and the host made excuses due to disclaimer for outdoor insects. Oriental cockroaches do not live outside in New Hampshire. There was roach droppings on beds which we originally thought were just dirt but now after researching found it was actually roach poop. Host was defensive, and only agreed to refund us half of one night’s stay and one half of cleaning fee. The house had excessive amounts of dirts and dust under couches and beds, cobb webs everywhere, dust and dirty blinds in windows and broken kitchen ware (griddle, toaster). I had to contact AirBnB support and when I did so, host scolded me and refused to refund anymore than $170. Mind you, we had to thoroughly inspect all of our belongings, throw away excessive amounts of food before returning home to not bring the infestation home with us. I would not stay here EVER again or at any of host’s property due to their negligence.

Cabin was very cute and cozy but was very disappointed with the cleanliness. Hot tub had lots of dirt in the bottom of it and low water levels. Kitchen smelt very musty and the bathroom shower curtain had mildew on the bottom half of it. The hanging light when you walk in did not work. Was a cute home just needs a little bit of a deep clean.

House was beautiful, spacious and well located. However, while most of the house was pretty clean parts of were left dirty.

Unfortunately, I am fairly disappointed with our stay. The place was overall dirty. Of course, there will be a few bugs and wear and tear in a cabin, but this was beyond that. Also the towels provided did not feel clean and smelled like mildew. The check out/clean up process is very extensive and really took away from the “vacation retreat” experience. You have to drive to a different property, which is not accessible, to throw out a small bag of trash or be charged a fee. You are also expected to wash and dry all of the towels the night before you check out. There is also an extensive pet policy that is not disclosed prior to booking. The hot tub was quite heavy on the chemicals. I don’t believe we will be staying at any of the NHMT rental properties any time soon.

Nice cabin with some issues: Unfinished laundry in washer, an unclean (i.e., previously used) toilet, cleaner’s trash left out on counter, no trash bags, and areas of the house that had obviously not been cleaned. I brought these issues to the host’s attention and apparently these were known problems already with the cleaning services. Ultimately, I was refunded half of my cleaning fee. It would have been nice if the host would have just made arrangements to cover any lapses in cleaning instead of waiting for me to bring up the issues myself. Check out tasks were also excessive for a house that you pay cleaning fees for. You are asked to wash and dry all towels and then start another load of sheets and remaining laundry. Trash also has to be taken to another location Overall, it’s a nice location but I would probably would look for other options next time I’m in the area. I’m not one to ever complain about AirBnB’s.This is one of the first times I haven’t left a 5 star review

This place has lots of room for a big crowd, but is honestly in need of a lot of maintenance. A lot of the amenities didn't work (air hockey table, ping pong table, TVs, coffee maker) didn't work; and the place needs a deep, deep clean and linens refreshed.

The house is stunning. You’re able to sit on the couch and look over mountains! We did have a small issue upon arrival about the cleanliness of the bathroom and kitchen. It did eventually get taken care of, but I felt we had to argue to get to a resolution. We checked out the private beach using the maintained trail and loved the ability to pop down there for a few hours here and there!

Beware: these guys will try to milk you dry for every penny at checkout. They will claim you left things messy/ used too much things in the house just to charge you extra astronomical cleaning fees. I found hair on my bed so I switched over to a different bed and the host attempted to charge me for using an extra bed!!!! Also when he saw he was clearly in the wrong for that he tried charging me for using an extra bathroom wich I didn't use!!! Im sorry for leaving such a nasty review but at the end of the day there is no reason someone else should have to go through the same thing I did when on vacation.

The cabin is a good size, conveniently located, and easy to access. The interior is well laid out and has a nice overall design. Unfortunately, our stay was negatively impacted by several issues. The cabin did not appear to have been cleaned properly before our arrival. The dining table and kitchen countertops were sticky and unclean, and we found roaches in different areas of the house. only one TV was functioning properly. Another major concern was the lack of adequate air conditioning. There were no fans or AC in the kitchen, dining area, family room, or bunk-bed room, making those areas very uncomfortable, especially during warmer weather. The cleaning and laundry requirements for guests were also unusually strict. Given the relatively high cleaning fee, it felt as though much of the cleaning responsibility was being shifted to guests. Finally, the absence of on-site garbage disposal was inconvenient, as we had to transport our own trash to a separate disposal location. 2 star
