“Beautiful home well equipped for hosting. Unfortunately, there was a used bandaid left on the ground when we checked in, towels that were tattered and had holes in them, linens with stains. Oddly the beds do not come made - linens are there for you to make your own bed. Then you have to strip the linens and remake the bed with just the quilts before checkout which is honestly a huge inconvenience and should be taken care of for the price of this booking. There are some pest issues (cockroaches).”

“We found the home to be very comfortable, clean and beautiful, and our family felt right at home. The location was great too - just a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk shops and restaurants. Check-in/out are a bit of an inconvenience because instead of using the door keypads, you have to pick up/drop off the key from a management office. We were also disappointed that the rental company only supplied 2 rolls of single-ply toilet paper for a home with 4 bathrooms, 1 roll of paper towels and no trash bags. The air is also set to 78 upon arrival which in the heat of summer took many hours to cool down to a comfortable temp. Lastly, linens are provided, so beds are unmade at check-in and towels, toilet paper, etc. comes in a bag to be distributed. Not a big deal but a bit of a hassle to deal with after a long travel day, and especially traveling with small children as we were. Beautiful beach home but comes with some inconveniences from management.”

“We arrived and the condo was very dirty. Kitchen floor was filthy and sticky, the vents and fans were extremely dusty. There was a smell to the condo, we had to air it out. There was a lot of garbage under the beds and the kitchen cabinet was off and broken. I did reach out to the office, and they did send someone the same day to address our concerns, thank you for that. The beds did not have sheets on them already, which in all my years on airbnb, I've never had to make my own bed. The beds were like sleeping on the floor, very hard and the place was very outdated. We paid 1900$ for 3 nights and for the money, we were not pleased. The kissing mage it better, but we will not be staying again.”

“This rental was perfect for our needs! It was located with easy access to the beach and walkable too many restaurants as well as activities. Easy to watch sunrise and sunset, depending on which side of Carolina Beach we went to- the Canal side where the beach side. Everything needed to cook a meal relax and enjoy some family time! We would highly recommend this location.”

“We had a wonderful stay overall! The location is definitely the biggest highlight—you simply can’t beat the easy, convenient access to the beach. It made spending our days by the ocean effortless. The pool was also clean, well-maintained, and a great place to relax after a day in the sun. The property had everything we needed for our stay, although some areas could use a little updating. The furniture wasn’t the most comfortable, the cookware has seen better days, seating was somewhat limited, and parking could be a challenge during busy times. That said, if your priority is being close to the beach and having a nice pool to enjoy, this is a great choice. We made wonderful memories and appreciated the convenient location and amenities.”

“We had a very comfortable stay at this Carolina Beach home. The house was clean, spacious, and located about five blocks from the beach, making it an easy walk to the ocean. The beds were comfortable and we slept well throughout our stay, although the rental linens were a bit rough. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware and utensils, but future guests should know that there were no spices or basic seasonings provided—not even salt and pepper. The only coffee maker available was a K-Cup machine, and no coffee pods were supplied, so be sure to bring your own if you're a coffee drinker. Overall, the home was comfortable and conveniently located, and we enjoyed our time there.”
