nestago's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Great location. Condo is dated. We were there in the summer, pool/hot tub was a zoo. Parking in overflow was a hassle. Unit was quiet. No smart tv?”airbnb

“The house was nice, plenty of space. However, the dryer didn’t work. The washer was very noisy. Found the dryer unplugged. Inquired as too why, Not resolved. I had packed light, thinking I could wash clothes. Did one load, tried dryer, had to hang clothes in closet to dry. The deck rails were a little wobbly. Light over table flickered a lot. (Maybe loose connection). Bar/bars in shower would be nice for older renters. The removable shower head (main floor)was very hard to reach, ( and I’m fairly tall.) also, worn shower hose, leaked. Higher, updated toilets would have been nice. However, the beds were very comfortable. The house was quiet despite being on a busy street. Outside space was very nice. Over-all a nice place. Just needs a little update and repair.”airbnb

“Mixed review! The property is in a beautiful setting, the house is cozy, and the kitchen is very well stocked with basic cooking supplies. Having a dishwasher and washer/dryer is also a huge plus. That said, the cleanliness fell below expectations. The bed had a lot of dog hair, to the point we rewashed the sheets before sleeping, and the floors were very dirty. Our young children (10 months and 2 years old) were constantly covered in dirt and dog hair while crawling and playing. The yard had over a foot of weeds, and there was a huge hole in the deck that felt unsafe for kids. The grill gas tank was also empty, so we couldn’t use it. Finally, a random man knocked on the door at 9:30 p.m. during a torrential downpour asking for a ride to his house. While we understand this was outside the host’s control, the home has no curtains or window coverings, which made us feel very exposed and vulnerable. Wouldn’t return, but improved cleanliness and safety precautions could improve it.”airbnb

“Bedroom was very large and great (should have a mirror), but too many perfumed candles, etc. Stairs would not be great for older people, bathroom on bottom floor, bedroom on top floor. Pretty small all in all. Landscaping, yuck and no shade. A key box was hanging on the front door knob, made it difficult to get ahold of to turn. Very cheap toilet seat. The house all all the necessary appliances and dishes. It all worked but I was disappointed.”airbnb

“Overall, our family really enjoyed our multiple night stay. The property was clean and well kept. There were multiple small issues that we ran into with the door code not working (spent 30 minutes awaiting a response), propane bottles being very low without a spare, trash bin overflowing on arrival, kitchen relatively bare (lacking baggies/aluminum foil, few Tupperware, few utensils), the bedrooms didn’t have blinds making them very bright in the early morning. We went in early July and found the upstairs to be in the upper 70’s with the air conditioning as low as it would go at 69 degrees.”airbnb

“Place was tucked in on a dirt road. We liked the location for the quiet and nature. Stairs need maintenance and the garbage in garage was over flowing and smelled. They came when we told them and only took garbage not in bins. Bins were still full”airbnb

“10/10 Clean, quiet, comfortable 5/10 Child friendly 2/10 personable/personal The place was spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable and the neighbors were very quiet. It's within walking distance to some stores and a cute little park. It's a really nice place if you only have adults staying. They were not, though, child friendly. There weren't any child safe plates or utensils and the bathtubs were not conducive to giving baths. Back yard access for young kids was impossible. While we were not necessarily traveling with children, we did have the grandbabies come visit. Also, we contacted them about damage to both their home and our property during recent hail storms, and no one called back to check on either thing. Just know that you do not have access to the garage. I now understand it is a business and not private owners, but I did not know this until we arrived.”airbnb

“The location was convenient for exploring Colorado Springs. Unfortunately, the home did not have working air conditioning (was listed in amenities for our stay. Has since been removed.) for most of our stay. We reported the issue shortly after arrival and had to send multiple follow-up messages before receiving responses. The problem was not resolved before checkout. We were advised to open windows, and a portable AC unit was delivered late in the stay (the evening before checkout) but left outside. The listing also lacked some basic supplies, including adequate trash bags. Future guests visiting during warmer months may want to confirm the cooling situation before booking.”airbnb

“We travel a lot and this house did not meet our standards. This house appeared much nicer in the pictures. It could use some TLC, a deep cleaning, new paint and charm, and more comfortable beds and furniture. Several of the door handles to the outside need to be replaced because either they didn’t work or were loose and falling off. My husband killed one bug on him while sitting on the couch and my son noticed another scurrying across the kitchen floor one morning. The floors in the upstairs bathrooms had hair from past visitors. The washer and dryer were old, noisy and need to be replaced, they are in the bedroom hall. The dryer wouldn’t turn off on its own which seems hazardous. Driveway was extremely steep and difficult to navigate with a neighbor who parked his car right at the end where you back out. The upstairs heating wasn’t working well when we arrived, taking hours to get above 66. 4pm check in was late, we asked about early check in, they were going to charge by the minute.”airbnb

“Bait-and-switch. Do not trust the photos of this listing. Upon arrival, I found significant floor damage and a leaking kitchen faucet—defects conveniently left out of the listing photos. When confronted, the host (nestago) ADMITTED in writing they were already 'tracking' these issues and had repairs scheduled, yet they never disclosed this before my arrival. To make matters worse, despite admitting the home was not as advertised, the host DECLINED my request for a refund of the cleaning fees and unused nights. They are knowingly profiting from a misrepresented listing and forcing guests to spend hours in mediation. This is the most dishonest hosting experience I’ve had. If you value transparency and a property that matches its description, stay elsewhere.”airbnb
