nestago's guest rating of 4.79 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Thank god there was no emergency - all the windows have bars - The smell was terrible- The hot water was bad - the power would pop when we used the kitchen appliances -”airbnb

“Overall a great space with a ton of room. Bedding and towels were great quality. Close to downtown. Definitely can tell it is pet friendly- dog hair on the floor and main couch was stained/dirty.”airbnb

“The location was great, and the bedrooms were nice with their own bathrooms. The garage was also a nice feature. Parking was easy. I was very frustrated with the following things, please be aware if you have kids. I paid $200 per night over other similar accommodations because of the pool and hot tub access. I have 3 children who saw the multiple pictures online, and then had no access the first night. We were only there 2 nights, so 50% of the stay they were unusable. The first night after skiing I messaged the owner regarding the problem. It was very clear I was messaging a bot. The answers were bizarre. Additionally, one of the children was an infant who is unable to sit on her own. Another reason for staying her was the crib and highchair on the advertisement. I messaged the owner to confirm these items would be in the place, or I would bring my own. There was no highchair, just a little booster for older kids with old food caked on it, stuck in a pantry that was very dirty.”airbnb

“We travel a lot and this house did not meet our standards. This house appeared much nicer in the pictures. It could use some TLC, a deep cleaning, new paint and charm, and more comfortable beds and furniture. Several of the door handles to the outside need to be replaced because either they didn’t work or were loose and falling off. My husband killed one bug on him while sitting on the couch and my son noticed another scurrying across the kitchen floor one morning. The floors in the upstairs bathrooms had hair from past visitors. The washer and dryer were old, noisy and need to be replaced, they are in the bedroom hall. The dryer wouldn’t turn off on its own which seems hazardous. Driveway was extremely steep and difficult to navigate with a neighbor who parked his car right at the end where you back out. The upstairs heating wasn’t working well when we arrived, taking hours to get above 66. 4pm check in was late, we asked about early check in, they were going to charge by the minute.”airbnb

“Check in was easy, but the place was dirty upon arriving. Dusty, trash left by the bed, dried contacts on nightstand, mildew in the shower, toilet had pubic hair on it. Bathroom drawers dirty with hair, stains and trash. The locker key was missing and no follow up as to getting access. Had to leave things in the car. Missing extra towels for the pool, housekeeping lied and said they came by and they didn’t. No follow up after that. The place was convenient as far as location, but noisy with the road and someone had dogs that wouldn’t stop barking. The only thing that saved this place and a reason for an extra star was the underground parking and indoor pool.”airbnb

“The unit was as described and worked well for a ski weekend. Clear directions and check-in instructions were very helpful as well. Knocking off a star only because the pre-trip communication was quite annoying and intrusive - I received several calls, texts, and in-app messages to ask for unnecessary information like the purpose of our visit and if we had visited before.”airbnb

“Bait-and-switch. Do not trust the photos of this listing. Upon arrival, I found significant floor damage and a leaking kitchen faucet—defects conveniently left out of the listing photos. When confronted, the host (nestago) ADMITTED in writing they were already 'tracking' these issues and had repairs scheduled, yet they never disclosed this before my arrival. To make matters worse, despite admitting the home was not as advertised, the host DECLINED my request for a refund of the cleaning fees and unused nights. They are knowingly profiting from a misrepresented listing and forcing guests to spend hours in mediation. This is the most dishonest hosting experience I’ve had. If you value transparency and a property that matches its description, stay elsewhere.”airbnb

“Lloyd’s place is in a great location, offering a convenient drive to both Breckenridge and Keystone. However, we felt the home’s upkeep could be improved. We encountered some cleanliness issues, including stained linens and mold on the bathroom soap dispenser. Additionally, the main bedroom is quite compact and would benefit from better ventilation. With a more thorough cleaning and some maintenance, this would be a much better stay.”airbnb

“The cabin itself was clean and well furnished. However, on day 1 we realized we had zero hot water. We notified the hosts and received instructions on what to try to amend this—checking the breaker and resetting water heater—but neither worked. We were told they would set up a time for someone on their maintenance team to take a look at the water heater on day 2, but by checkout on day 7, no one had ever shown up, even after we followed up. This was disappointing, as the cabin was in a great location and clean, but the lack of hot water was a large inconvenience, especially in winter.”airbnb

“Me and my family never actually stayed the place since our code to enter wasn’t working and the host never answered our concerns, Airbnb had to cancel our booking. But just from the outside you could tell how abandoned the place is. All blinds were broken, trash/clutter in front of the driveway, the hot tub lid was completely broken, the whole area just felt abandoned and unsafe. The host never answered me nor Airbnb for more than 3hours. Just a horrid experience, we had to get last minute lodging, thankfully Airbnb support was helping us at every moment”airbnb
