Manager Review

Nauset Rental

Nauset Rental's guest rating of 4.61 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The check-in process and required information were difficult, as already discussed with Airbnb and the management team. A government ID and selfie with the ID are required. Hopefully the listing is updated and there is improvement for future guests. You’re dealing with a management team, not the owner, so after-hours responses may not come until the next day. There is one parking space with tight spots, so oversized SUVs/trucks may have difficulty. The stairs near the driveway are narrow, though there is a wider set on the other side. FYI if you have bags. Pros: The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and most non-refrigerated condiments you may need if you want to cook.

We had a great week in Falmouth. We have four kids and this house was perfect for them! Lots of toys and books! The basement is a perfect playroom for the kids equipped with toys, TV, kids table & chairs. The neighborhood is filled with families with children so my kids rode their bikes everyday to the pool and playground. I would stay here every week in the summer going forward!

This house was perfect for our family of 10. 4 large bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and so much family space. The dining table fit all 10 of us for at home dinners. Little cramped, but worked. Loved the screened in porch, nice addition, though the door to outside was a little curious. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped with all you could need. Parking is a bit cramped as we ended up with 4 vehicles. But with one in the garage, we made it work. It's a great space and I would highly recommend.

No ac in third bedroom and too hot to sleep in there. Primary bedroom needs curtains that blocks light from outside. Second bedroom has no curtains or shades. Beach chairs were too rusty to use and no beach towels. Grill and oven don’t heat up correctly - need to be replaced. Second key didn’t work and we were locked out of front door. Pillows need to be replaced in primary bedroom.

We had a wonderful family vacation at The Long Dell Inn. The property was quaint and lovely, you felt like you were on vacation the minute you stepped in. It was extremely clean, comfortable, spacious and stocked with everything you needed to enjoy cooking and relaxing at home, especially for a large group. It was a 10 minute walk to Craigsville beach or a 2 minute drive, which was very enjoyable. The patio and yard were fantastic as well. Every bedroom had its own bathroom and air conditioning throughout the property made it so comfortable. The large living room with a high ceiling was a perfect spot to gather. The list goes on. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home, just like the pictures. The perfect quiet and quaint getaway for our family. The house is older so, just watch your head if you’re tall like my family. I’ll forever remember this trip.

For the amount we paid, Nauset Rental could have done a better job of taking care of the property and their customers. Multiple maintenance requests went ignored for our entire week-long stay, including a faulty smoke alarm system which went off at 5am during our first morning in the house, a leak under the kitchen sink which had caused mold to grow and made half the sink unusable, and an electrical short that made it impossible to run both the kitchen oven and stovetop at the same time. The house was not clean upon arrival (an entire potato left on the kitchen floor downstairs, hair on the bathroom vanity, previous visitors hair comb left behind, bugs everywhere) and not exactly as described; it was missing a bunk bed and we had to reconfigure our sleeping arrangements. The house was hard to find, GPS kept sending us to a neighboring cul de sac and the signage on the street does not match the address on the Airbnb listing; they could have given more details to make check-in easier.

AMAZING Stay in Centerville – Would Go Back in a Heartbeat! We had an absolutely wonderful 4-day mini-vacation in Centerville! Even though it rained for a couple of days, the house was beautiful, incredibly clean, and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The absolute best feature of the layout was that each bedroom had its own dedicated bathroom, which made our stay so comfortable and convenient. Our group size fluctuated throughout the trip. We originally expected 12-14 guests, but ended up with 8 people for two nights and 6 people for one night. The house offered plenty of space for everyone. We spent the rainy days playing games, cooking great food, and watching "Jaws", which was perfect for the Cape. On our two beautiful sunny days, we hit Craigville Beach, walked down Hyannis Main Street to grab some incredible pizza from Barbone, and treated ourselves to 4 Seas Ice Cream. We also had a lovely birthday dinner with family over at Tugboats on the Hyannis Marina.
